I didn’t know Design Essentials and Briogeo were black owned. Your hair looks spectacular and much longer from previous videos I’ve seen. That Curls is working!
@@1cakesz Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but its NOT black owned.... Design Essentials was started at Empire Beauty School in NYC as a product for students to use at 1st before they began selling it retail. It's good but NOT black owned. It never was
@@1cakesz Yes, Design Essentials is a Black-owned family business that has been providing hair care products for over 30 years. The brand is known for its curly girl products for naturals, and some say they are moisturizing and make styling hair easier. Design Essentials products are available at many retailers, including Ulta, SalonCentric, JCPenney, Sally, Walmart, Target, and Walgreens.
Exactly that's why I click on this topic right away oh please ....they have a certain %coming in so she still have to be the face of the product to continue getting black folks to buy .....
I’m trying it for the first time today. I used the conditioner as a deep conditioner with some of the oil, then added back a little more as a leave in. Then I used the elongating cream and it’s air drying now. I hope I love it, too!
I'm obsessed with Nature's Little Secret🙌🏾 Their cucumber shampoo, hydrating rose conditioner, banana leave-in conditioner and the Irish Moss styling cream! If you want moisture along with great natural ingredients....this brand is IT!💕
Thanks for the hair tips! I’m transitioning my relaxed hair now and I’m trying to study what products would work best for me and this video was right on time!
Tatiana Ragland Black owned does not mean black and others. Most hair stores are owned by poc but does their money go to us no it goes to the Asian community which not black.
Oyin is nice. The Hair Dew is awesome. Soultanicals is very nice. Love the Butta Shampoo. Your hair will be so soft afterwards that a deep condition isn't really needed. I bought the Goddess Strength collection by Carol's Daughter but I haven't used it yet. The use of black seed in it intrigued me. I'm currently using the Coco Creme collection and I do like it.
I love the Curls leave in conditioner and their mask. The leave in keeps my hair moisturized and I love how thick the mask is. It leaves my hair very soft. I have the Design Essentials mousse but I havent used it yet but I'm sure I will like it. I still don't know how I feel about the kinky curly combo but I will try it again. The Alikay Naturals Sage conditioner didn't really do anything for me but I only had a sample of it. I love that TPH scalp scrub. It felt so good and relaxing to use. They smell really good but african pride conditions got damn chocolate never in my 18 years living have I came across a hair product that has chocolate in it. It makes me hair feels truly amazing😩❤️
Im so confused on what to use for my natural hair curl, because i am looking at all these video it is very discouraging,😒 i look at your videos and 2 other beautiful queens with your beautiful hair, i just trimmed my ends a little bit but when i did my twist and used shea moisture , cantu and a curl gel, i still saw some see through strands 😢
Don't let all of these products overwhelm you.😊 My advice is remember that it takes time for results, so use a product for a month and see how your hair responds. For example, if you are going to use the Cantu line like: Cantu shampoo, Cantu conditioner, then Cantu leave in conditioner, then use this for one month. Then if you don't see more results or your hair isn't responding well to that particular product you will know that's not the product for your hair. Too many times people use so many different products and it's hard to determine what works and what doesn't. Just my thoughts. Good luck. 🤗
