    Just remember if you get gallstone down the line (which is a good chance you will) is going to be different. Make sure to tell the surgeon you had a duodenal switch, because not every surgeon will be able to help you.

      Easy way to explain: 1 gastric sleeve: 2-3years better results, you still need contor your eat, if not weights will gain. 2. Bypass: hard surgery will get many connection and It is easy to cause interface leakage, and you need to take vitamins for life. But for long term weight loss 3. Mini bypass: just single connection easy safety but Frequent esophageal acid reflux, bile acid reflux, and vomiting 4. DS, stronger for high BMI people in 2 surgeries, more aggressive and more connction 5. SADI-S powerful surgery and only one single connect safe ,and long term

    Does the original duodenal switch cause less hunger and urge to eat than the Sadie?

    So the Single Anastomosis or Mini Bypass is another word for Duodenal Switch?

    • @bariatriccenters
      @bariatriccenters  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not exactly. The single anastomosis duodenal switch (SIPS) is a loop duodenal switch and a mini gastric bypass is a single anastomosis gastric bypass /loop gastric bypass
