Objective-C syntax may look strange, but once you dig into it more and more you'll find it's not so difficult and over time you'll be able to work comfortably in legacy codebases.

Yeah absolutely true, even though the majority of new projects I’ve worked on or from scratch projects started have been in Swift, every older project that has to be maintained is in Objective-C and rewriting it completely into Swift is usually too expensive to justify.
