    This is an exemplary showcase of how every software vendor should introduce their product stack. Great Job Jason!!!

    Well said. You are able to break down concepts to make anyone understand. Many people don't have that skill. THank you!

      Good luck. Try the VMware 2020 and VMware 2020 part two videos if you want to have some conversational stuff to chat about in your interview.
      GCVE is also going into general availability in a matter of days and not many people know anything about it yet
      I would also try and talk about platforms (vcf) rather than specific products and features if you feel comfortable doing that.

      GCVE just went live today. I just got an email about the announcement between Google and VMware 10 mins ago. Would be good to be familiar with that if asked.

      Thank you very much. A lot of new staff at VMware watch it first before the more detailed training starts, just to get it clear in their head how things fit together and relate to each other.
      Thanks for taking time to comment.
      VMware 2020 has a bit more detail about our priorities for this year.

    When you say move from site to site would that also include site to pubic cloud

    • @jasonmeers
      @jasonmeers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply. Yes that includes the public cloud as long as they are running vmware cloud foundation “underneath” I.e. vsphere, Vsan and nsx.
      All of the major cloud providers can offer a cloud based vmware foundation (vcf) or vmware managed cloud (vmc). This includes amazon aws, Microsoft azure, google cloud platform, oracle, ibm and 4,300+ other cloud vendors.
      The whole point of vcf is to allow virtual machines and containers to be moved between private, hybrid and public clouds (without conversion or re-engineering)

    Hi , i need to ask a question what are the key trends and opportunities in SDDC , and how vmware can help

    • @jasonmeers
      @jasonmeers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, apologies for the late reply. The key trends are that data-centers and clouds are going software defined. You need to be able to manage things by using policies and infrastructure-as-code if you want to be able to manage it across multiple data-centers, public clouds and hybrid clouds. Software defined compute, storage and networking is the best way to provide a consistent infrastructure and consistent operations so you can focus more time and effort on applications and services, and delivering those to end users and customers. The focus is also more around developers and apps, providing business value, and not just being content "keeping the lights on ", that's a given now. A bit of a buzz-word reply, but if you have a more specific question I'd be happy to answer it again with a more specific answer.

      I don’t know how to get questions but I would suggest watching my 2020 videos and the four light board videos, and learning which products are in which product families.
