Wow that's actually insanely helpful. I had no idea this site existed... always wondered how people found exact movie quotes for every other sentence they say.. just assumed they had a problem 😂
Pretty amazing site, the search for word or phrase and applying it for all of a particular show is a really nice feature. Currently enjoying seeing how many clips of saying the word "Hi" in the Simpsons and it's an easy rabbit hole to get into 😂
Thanks for showing a website that offers short audio clips. But I want to ask you something, since there are audio clips from movies or shows, is it alright to use those just in case i want to build my portfolio
As long as we're *apparently not* on the topic 😂 can I ask for some advise? I would like to do sound design for animation, but I'm having trouble meeting people and finding projects. All of the animation programs in my area are videogame focused, and I can't find people who are interested in linear media. I even helped found an 'animation club' but mostly just attracted people with ideas for "the perfect cartoon" but not people who animate. I've also had no luck meeting sound designers for animation to talk to (once again, all videogame sound designers) Do you have any suggestions on how to make these kinds of friends, for someone who lives in the wrong place?
That’s a tough question since I don’t do that type of work. All I could suggest is to go on LinkedIn and ask animators if they’re okay with you adding sound to their clips. Same on Twitter and Insta. At the same time grab sequences from TV shows and movies and “re-imagine” them with your own sound design to build a portfolio and then post that on LinkedIn and social media channels for visibility. If it’s good work and resonates with people you should be able to find work!
Sir how to download the clip file from this site. I mean only the dialogue part and not the entire video clip. As animators we all need the dialogue part but I couldn't find any option to download only the dialogue part. Would be glad if you could help me out in this thing sir.
How's that for clickbait? HAHAHA! But seriously, it's a great site and super helpful!
I expected clickbait and I found gold!

@@TimMcHughAnimation As long as you don’t make any money off of it I’d assume you’re okay.
I couldn't find jumanji welcome to the jungle and jack 1996 movie

Just download the entire clip and then delete the video track in Quicktime. Or open the clip in any video software and export the audio only.
@@jeandenishaas Thank you so much Sir. Lots of love and support from India.
@@samritgoswami8565 You’re very welcome!
So this is not copyrighted? You can use these as music samples?
I doubt you can incorporate them as samples and then sell it, but you should check with them.
@@jeandenishaas okay, thanks alot
@@juniorpmatroos7912 Sure thing!
the website is broken 😢, it doesn't at this time
It’s working for me on the desktop and on the phone
Very helpful, but how to download on iPhone? Thanks
Do a screen capture?
is getyarn copyright free?
You can’t use it for commercial projects since it uses copyrighted clips but I’d read their FAQ to get all the details.
@@jeandenishaas I did read the faq but it was too technical. So basically, I can’t use it for TH-cam monetised content?
@@ASITL You can try, maybe it’s so short that it won’t trigger anything?
