This album was soooo critically acclaimed that we had to take a shot at it - please like, sub or comment down below and give us your thoughts on what you think of this album and what the album of the year should be.....
That's Charli XCX! I think "Brat" is a very cohesive pop/ dance/ electronica album. My #4 album for 2024. My favorite album by Charli XCX, and I've been a fan since 2013. And I'm definitely older than you probably think I am. My Elvis avatar is good clue. 😊😄
This makes me feel old as when you mentioned you were doing this album last night, I had no idea who Charlie XCS was, let alone a female artist. I do know who some of the popular pop artists are, but this one has escaped me. Thanks for the reviews as I probably won't be searching this album out.
Hi guys, I listened to this a couple weeks ago and have many of the same thoughts as you both, the repeatative lyrics really got to me, and surprised to hear people think the lyrical content is deep "bad tattoos on leather tanned skin" "3-6-5 party girl"? But beyond that, it doesn't sound new, which I understand is the appeal. Probably salty that recycling the sounds of the 2000's are considered retro and now trendy, lol. That said, if I was 21 would I be into this, yes ABSOLUTELY! Oh, and I like Dua Lipa, so I'm not completely against pop music, this one didn't connect with me.
Well said Marcia. Anyone who knows me - knows I have an extensive catalog of genres that I listen to and I am actually a big fan of Swift and Grande - so I am not blind to modern pop. This just didn't vibe with me much at all.
Honestly, I don't know the artists or album at all. Completely outside my scope. I'm sure both of your scores are accurate. Not sonething I need to explore.

Happy to be a part of this!
My album of the year is The Last Dinner Party "Prelude To Ecstasy".

Marcia, it's been a while! At least you're hip to Dua Lipa haha
I know nothing about it other then it sells like crazy at the record stores around here.
End of its usefulness
Haha it's the rage, thanks Ernie
After watching and hearing both your opinions, I will stick to my guns and never listen to this album.
Good move
Listen to it but film it for us

I'd pay to see you react to it live
