He just said "The game doesnt specify what type of sage" as he was going for orleander sage thinking it'd work.. I was fooled by this as well which is why im on YT seaching this.
You have a point, I do not know why the game decided to name it “oleander sage” rather than its actual name “nerium oleander,” which is the irl plant and most common name. It’s really commonly seen as an ornamental plant in neighborhoods and buildings in Florida. It’s also deadly of course. But yeah the only way to know not use oleander is if you have some obscure previous knowledge about plants, they pulled the name sage out their ass tbh.
God damn it, I had finally collected all the ingredients to start this but decided to do "one" mission because I was close enough to start it, turns out it was the "last" one before the epilogue and I lost all the ingredients!
the fact you waited that long to do this blows my mind I had 90% of this stuff done before chapter 5 none of them are hard and with a map its easy outside of maybe the hunting ones
@@SuperZombiepimp lmao I've done almost total completion, the only things that are left are: Gangs 4/6, Legendary Fish(because I need to complete it as John, same for the gangs) Dinosaur Bones, Hunting request( same with the requests, I can't complete it until the Epilogue, Rock Carvings and Dream Catchers
I was at emerald ranch finishing some challenges and was watching the video at the fast travel stand and forgot I was in so when I started spamming a I accidentally went to tumble for $10 and then needed to fast travel back which was another $10
This method is still working as of 11/06/2020. A few points: 1.) I would recommend making potent bitters instead if that is easier. Both use the same ingredients. 2.) You HAVE to be at a campfire to make these items. 3.) Just hold X or A, don't tap it lmao.
I mad potent horse stimulant with oleander sage and common bulrush it counted but when I got enough oleander derp sage to make more it doesn't let me anyone know why

Spent ages finding 7 oleander sage, crafted a few poisonous arrows, wondered why it didn't trigger as completed so i checked my challenges and not a single had been registered...... Why only write "sage" if you literally need a certain type of sage for it to work 🤦♂️
