- I went to visit my friend Matthew to get a closer look at his 265 bhp Cossie V6 powered Mk3 Cortina Estate AND his 170 bhp RWD Zetec powered Mk1 Fiesta. They are both such awesome cars and after a walk around them I got the chance to experience both of them from the passenger seat. 👍

Love Both these Cars. Completely different Beasts but both Sound and Epic in their own way. Fiesta looks a ton of fun and love the idea of the interior. Perhaps instead of changing the whole box due to the noise being to much in fifth just change the fifth gear ratio to standard for long journeys and still have the great soundtrack of straight cut gears for the fun bits😊
I was actually saying to Matt that a lot of the straight cut boxes have a normal 5th. Apparently his box has a normal 4th??? But the Fez was built to be a hot rod so it would have spent its whole life in 2nd gear. 👍
With that handbrake the pivot point to the pushrod needs changing - mine had a fly off lever and I switched it to a standard button.
Anybody know how much you want for the fiesta?😅
Looks like the hydraulic handbrake (on the Fiesta) would work if the piston was attached to the rearmost hole at the top 🤷. Whether that’d move the piston enough I don’t know, but it wouldn’t take too much working out. Lovely cars though, both of them 👍

what make is the cosworth v6 engine
Its a Ford engine mate. The Cossie V6s were fitted to Ford Granadas and Ford Scorpios. 👍
Ford/cosworth
