I LOVE this watch! I don’t care for the Apple Watch and have been looking for a watch that would catch my eye. This is definitely it! Is this the same as the Domiwear D99 watch! Pros and Cons... Can this connect to an Apple phone?
The DM99 appears to be similar to the LEM4 Pro (the one I'm comparing it to in this video, smaller of the two). The Ticwris Max is a 640x480 display which is significantly larger. There is an app WiiWatch 2 (you can scan the barcode from this video to see if it installs to an iPhone). I don't own an iPhone myself so can't say how well it works. But, it did connect to my Android phone. Really, the only cons I could find with this (which could be a pro) was the size, it's really big. The only other minor con might be the entry of height/weight is in KG/CM instead of lbs/inches. Aside from that, I love it and the size really isn't an issue for me.

Hi! I bought this kind of watch! I love it ! It’s so big! But I have Apple iPhone! I connect to Bluetooth! And it works but the problem is when I take my phone with me without the watch! It won’t work again! The Bluetooth is off on my iPhone! And then asked me to set up again! Is that normal?

I used to make straps to hold my ipod touch on my wrist, so glad this exists now.
Netflix, Bluetooth headphones, watching a video at my desk and no one will know, lol.
The biggest draw is unlimited alarms.

What I would b able to use my iPhone as hotspot and have this watch connect to the WiFi on my phone for TH-cam , internet , messaging , voice calls when I’m out in the community ?
I don't have an iPhone, but I would think for TH-cam, Internet should be fine. For messaging/voice calls, you'd either need an app. (Skype, FB, etc.) or a SIM card (service)
I just got my today and I am trying to add my number to the cellar network and I can not because it is blank out do you Kno how I can access the cellar network tab in connect when it's darken
It gets your cellphone number from the SIM card that is installed. After you install the card, power it off and back on for it to activate on the network.

I ordered one, today. When you sent email, was there a qwerty keyboard or just voice text. You didn't show that on the video. Also, is there a way to switch between landscape and portrait mode? Auto and/or manual?
There is a QWERTY keyboard, you could install others if you want (such as Google's with voice entry). There isn't a switch built-in for landscape/portrait but there are apps. that you can download that will lock it in either orientation, I downloaded one called "Lock Screen Rotation" which is very basic but does the job. what wireless networks does this watch support? Before I buy into a lot of plans playing pick and go until one work.
I'm in the US and use it with T-Mobile. You may want to ask this question to the seller. Sometimes things change or they operate on different frequencies depending on what country you're located. I'm just a YT guy, not the seller of this watch and only use one carrier so can't tell you much more than that. I'm sure if you contact the seller they'll be happy to let you know more details and I don't want to tell you wrong. Hope this helps!

How can i copy the data from my computer to the watch because it is not the normal USB cable ?
You can put the watch in the adapter and plug the other USB end into your computer. From there, I think you have to set it for USB Connected. Then, you should be able to copy your files.

I have problem with charger,i charged the watch through the quick charger yesterday for 4 hours, but the watch charged very slowly and it's very hot, it kept saying that it overloaded the power. Now, it's hard for me to charge eventhough i've waited for 3 hours so that it can back to normal. Whenever i charge right now, it always connect and disconnect charging all the time

Hi (: Can this watch connect to the phone? Samsung phone. For example, the Samsung phone has an incoming WhatsApp, will the watch able to receive it too and give out an alert ? Will both phone and watch be connected ? Or the watch is totally separated from the phone ?
I use it stand-alone, but there is a WiiWatch2 app. that can interact with your other cell. To what degree and if it's helpful, I'm not sure. I I've tried the original WiiWatch app. in the past and was underwhelmed with it.
That is one YUGE watch! To keep in line with the channel. How well does that watch handle retro emulation? With full access to the play store it should be able to handle something.

Why doesn't it have a MicroSD slot?
You'll have to ask the manufacturer why they didn't include a microSD slot. If I were to guess, likely because it would increase the size (somewhat of a joke, this is the largest watch I've ever owned). Virtual keyboards work, there are a ton of them you can install. It's Android, so... I don't use Hangouts. I've been using this watch since before this video, works fine but I only use it with a SIM and/or on WiFi.
I just purchased this one for 173$ on GearBest it will be here may 18th.Question is who ever ordered from gearbest did u get exactly what u ordered.Next the iOS is 7.1 were u able updated firmware latest android ios? Has anyone had issues with it?
I recieved mine about 2 months ago.. fell in love with it, then added the facial recognition with pattern lock. I took off the recognition, rebooted and I have been locked out since. Bought it off of Gearbest, but no reply yet. Does anyone know how to hard reset this thing so I can get back to using it?

Hi Eric, I'm sorry I don't know the answer for this. I've not run into this issue. I did some searching but haven't found a solution for you.
Its something about that pattern lock. Even if you have added a pattern, it doesn't accept it and locks you out. I have the exact same problem with no one returning emails. And I have gone to the ticwris website to no avail.
Do You know if the Max tracks sleep??
It doesn't, not as far as I'm aware of.
What do U do when play store crashes & nothing but a white screen appears¬hing else
Haven't had that happen, but hold the power button down until it shuts completely off then back on and see if that helps.
It doesn’t help I replaced that watch with another one just like it It did the same thing after a few days of arriving We need a newer update on these watches but non available
The more I check out this watch the more my mind is being made up to get it plus a set of earbuds. I would like a smartwatch that could also mirror what my smartphone display show's but I guess that will come in the future if we are still using a stand alone smartphone/smartwatch set up.
It is an impressive watch, wearing it now while typing this :) I've not reviewed the echo buds, primarily because I've not used them quite as much and going to the gym at this time really isn't a good idea. Also, it's a difficult product to review in a video :) But, as soon as it quits raining in my area, may start using them more with the Ticwris going on walks. From what little testing I've done on the echo buds, they worked pretty well.

No, it uses Bluetooth to communicate with headphones/external speakers.
How do we download different clock skins? I just got mine and there is no info anywhere...
Just hold your finger down on the current skin, then scroll to the right and select what you want. When you get all the way to the right, you'll see a "+" where you can download more.

Glad you got it. Also, go into the Settings, About there are a slew of updates that I've honestly missed in the past month or so. I performed a wireless update 4 times until it was all caught up (updates, installs, reboots the watch, update again - repeat until all caught up). There are some minor UI changes that they have implemented. Not sure all the underlying fixes but wanted to mention it.

haha, nope not really! It's HUGE :) Sometimes, I just take this with me and leave my larger cellphone at home.

There is a Wii Watch app. that you can download which does some of that kind of stuff. But honestly, don't use it since I have a dedicated SIM for it. Might want to google it or ask the question to one of the seller's on Amazon.

Hi I saw your review from Amazon. I actually received mine on March 6. I love it but it doesn't work on my Verizon network. Hoping an update will enable Verizon lol. Or I have to switch to Tmobile
Hi Lloyd, Yeah, I'm using it with t-mobile and it works well. I think a nanoSIM card is required for it to work, in the US that's AT&T and T-Mobile. The sim I'm using for it I picked up a few years ago when they had a deal $5/month to add a new line. Coverage can be spotty for 4G in some areas.
Look into Mint Mobile, they use the TMobile network and you can get 3 gigs a month for 15 dollars, best deal anywhere
@@johnmonk66 hi. I actually plugged in the IMEI for my ticwris on the Mint website and it says it's not compatible with the network. Fortunately Tmobile just started their Tmobile Connect plans which I'm on the unlimited talk n text with 2GB of data now for $15 a month
@@lloyd2daworld My guess is Mint is such a tiny company they haven't gotten around to adding it to the list yet. They told me the Unihertz Atom wasn't supported and it worked fine.

Has anyone found a way to do a hard reset when the pattern lock locks you out?
you hold down one of the buttons for 10 seconds. cant remember which one, or weather that actually factory resets, try looking up video's on the lemfo lem t - pretty much exactly same watch

@@WagnersTechTalk probably not most fashionable thing, but there is a use case. If nothing else it's an emergency phone (911 calls work without sim)
Website states the camera is 8.0 megapixels...any confirmation on this info?
An image I shot with the camera was 3264x2448, 72dpi, Bit depth 24. From what I could tell 8MP should be around 3500x2300 pixels so it falls a little below 8MP. It's possible I may be misunderstanding, that's why I put the details of an example image above. Hope this helps!

They should make a wristband which allows you to swivel it to allow watching videos without holding your wrist at an odd angle

You insert a SIM card from your wireless carrier, power it off and back on.
What sim provider works with this watch
I use it with T-Mobile, however I believe AT&T will work as well (in the USA). You'll want to check with your carrier first to make sure though.

Quick question, do they update android 7 to anything better (android 9-10)? Or anyone tried to? I like the concept, but android 7 is obsolete...
They actually did push out an update, but the version is TICWRIS_MAX_V1.3_20200307_20200307-0915 (44.01MB). I applied the update, once complete it was Android 7.1.1 (not 9-10).
Thank you for checking, such a pity! The hardware can easily deal with better os. I would pay double for latest android watch/phone. But I won't buy this.. Android 6 is dead, Android 7 will follow soon.
I already made an order and still wait for the watch, take a month to receive. The only thing i feel regrettable about this watch is the charger. It should be the same with the phone nowadays making us easier to backup the data and change the accessory when we lose.
Hi Nicky, yes it took awhile for mine to arrive. I don't disagree regarding the charging cable, it would have been nice if there was at least an option for a USB-C charging cable.

What sim card should I buy for mine
Sim cards are provided by you cellphone carrier, in my case I use it with T-Mobile but it's really up to you who to use depending on your country, available carriers, etc.
@@WagnersTechTalk I use boost but they aren't compatible, I've put my IMEI number on min mobile and they say the watch is compatible with their network
Man, wish I could help more. I only use one cellphone carrier and that's T-Mobile. The phone+data works for them, but there is no way I can know which carriers will allow the device on their networks. Sounds like boost locks down their network to their own phones/partners only but I can be mistaken since I've never used them. I just don't know.

Are you sure the SIM card is installed and activated? May need to verify with your carrier, I use mine with T-Mobile.

The image quality you can see in the video, you're not going to win any photography awards with this camera. It's front facing, so it's awkward to take an image far away since you can't see the subject without being in the picture. You'll need decent lighting. But, if you want to use it for Skype or video calling it's pretty cool

I like the watch, but I cannot figure out how to make phone calls. I put in my Sim card, it shows 4g sim connection. The up/down sim card arrows are lit, and yet I cannot make or receive calls. I have the internet and all the other features, but no phone. I wish someone would make a video showing exactly how to set this up. Does all it take is inserting the sim to work, or do you also have to go somewhere on the watch to choose a network, enter a password, flip a switch, etc.? I cannot figure this out to save my life!
After inserting the SIM card (make sure it's pushed in all the way), I made sure to power it off completely (hold bottom right button), then power it back on. Your carrier network should detect it at that point and register the sim on their network. From there, I could place a call. Just go to the phone app. type in 1 (area code) xxx-xxxx and the phone icon and it should dial at this point. If not, check with your carrier to see if the phone number associated with the watch was registered on their network. I'm with T-Mobile, works fine but I have no other networks/sims to test with. The only other thing I can think of is that your carrier may be blocking the sim from getting registered, perhaps because it doesn't recognize the device. In that case, the carrier may have to do something. I hope this helps, let me know the outcome please!
@@WagnersTechTalk Thank you. I go to the 'cellular networks' under the connect icon and then under network operators I choose automatic registration. It just tells me it "cannot connect to this network right now, try again later." I guess I'll have to take it to the carrier. I do have pictures, games and 8 movies downloaded onto it though, so it works great for that and going on the internet if I'm somewhere that offers free internet, or when I'm home. Thank you for your response.

If you have installed a sim card into your watch, power it off and back on. That should register it to the network.

This watch is shit, i can't even update the watch cause its stuck on portrait mode and it doesnt AUTO ROTATE, I'm not happy?
Not sure why the screen orientation would keep you from updating. But at any rate, just download "Lock Screen" to lock it in whatever orientation you want.
