Yeh nice one, You will love jumping im sure. The fear def gets everyone in different ways. some get nervous when they get near the door, others it doesn't kick in for a while and others it disappears after 30-40 jumps and then comes and goes over time. Enjoy your jumping, its a great community and a lot of fun.

I'm not trying to bust his chops. Just trying to learn.
I see the dude busting through the track group on his back right at the 7 minute mark. It makes me think... If we are above a group and we are supposed to be on our backs for that jump, should we stay on our belly until we're are at the group, then transition to back? It just seems like he's blindly sinking through the group. Same idea if we're on our bellies below the group. Do we fly on our backs until we're back with the group?

Yeh man, This is a very good point, You should DEFINITELY not approach the formation from above on your back, definitely not. Im guessing this dude kooked it. Consider what you think as 100% correct. He should not have been so close to the formation when transitioning with that kind of approach.
If you were bellow on the belly yeh go on the back and approach, although if you can't fly on your back its best to move to the side of the formation as best as you can and attempt to track back up. Speed = lift. so the faster and flatter you track the more height you will gain to get back. always keep an eye on the group tho as if track off comes or someone spits out you still want to be aware enough to avoid them. For me awareness is the no.1 key thing in jumping. being aware in dangerous situations saves lives, having tunnel vision can cause situations like this and further accidents.
      Good spot, and great question.
