Luch Exit:Left the plane slightly sideways with the legs up the bum a little. This is what caused the instability. Its very normal when launching from inside into head up for the first couple of times. We switched you and jimmy to give you a better position in freefall being behind the group, not next to it. Approach: After recovering from the exit you accelerated well down into position frowar...

Head down 3 way Scott Exit:Good exit and awareness pushing the formation out from the inside. FF: Same as last jump. When releasing the grip to carve around the formation, think stay close and in on the formation. this stops you from backing off. if you slow it down you will see your legs come forward slightly. this is the same on the first jump. it would just be an automatic reaction that allo...

Good exit, Went into a dive well but quickly went on the back, you still maintained a vertical dive well but it then slowly started going more and more on the back. this could be due to slowly tensing as the jump gets on. The body is very streamline tho, Try to focus on not looking down too much and sending more time on the belly. Tip, Do steep tracking angles on the belly to learn the feeling ...

Good exit, Notice the legs just after exit wobble back. this b=puts you on your back also. trying not to go too quick into a dive will stop this. You can see as the camera comes around the the body is in a slight arch due to the head looking down and the toes really pointed. thinking about pulling the chin and shoulders back will help this. having the legs straight is important but making sure ...

Jump Goal: Exit the same as the previous jump, go into the same position as before and feel the position, notice where the wind is hitting you, is it the back of the hand or the front of the arm, the rear of the leg for the top of the feet, more on the belly or more on the back? Try to fly in a less arched position to feel the wind going evenly over the belly and back. To do this feel the wind ...
Nice edit Mason. Seems like you had a great year 🤘🏼
Fuking EPIC !! Sickest flying from the best in the BIZ 🎉
🍿👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘
Belly flying, to me, feels so natural now. Whatever move I want to do or my instructor signals me to do, it just happens! I've been doing pretty good with 2-way superpositioning. I decided to try 3-way superpositioning on my own which was a side-slide combined with a 180° turn and an up movement. My instructor in the doorway gave me that "thumbs up" signal. Just got signed off on Level 2 Formation. I'm working on back flying now and use belly flying as a warm-up and a cool-down now. I plan on working on "speed" with my belly flying. I feel very comfortable with it now.
Mason it's a fuking great videos ! What application do you us for the aerodynamics with form ?
Cheers mate. I used an app called wind tunnel but it's not available any more unfortunately. its was on the App Store.
I love the fact that you don't make incredibly important considerations into bullet points
Head uuuuuuuup! Lol the plant is my favorite
good video bro, thx for sharing.
Head up from exit to formation, hell yeah.
Isn't it funny how freefall is more chill and the actual pucker time is flying amongst all that canopy traffic!
Was watching this from the ground :)
So sick!
You approached head up? Fucking legend.
Love the view man love the commentary been thinking about putting a mic setup into my helmet as well was wondering what system you were using? cheers
Just a road mic that I since up after wards with the footage.
Thank you very much, it's very wonderful video )))
body piloting so enjoyable to watch, i have been watching so many videos I wonder why no props are used, like a ring where two people can hold to it and do a lot of cheroegraphy or skate board-ish shape like a stateboard/snow board. Will definetely spice things up. The sport needs to go viral again and appeal to the masses. It really is the coolest sport out there. Would love to hear your take and opinion.
9:23 extremely powerful piece of information right here. I love that quote
I have Javelin and I have the problem you are talking about in 10:00
manequin angles better than me
You’ve come a long way with your online context. Can’t wait to come visit Downunder and jump with you coach! Keep up the hard work. Looking very strong! 🤘🏽🤙🏽
Cheers, thank you very much. Always a work in progress.
Thanks Matt, wished I’d watched this before I last went to the wind tunnel❤
Nice to see you man!! It's been a while. Any chance you wanna come visit a tunnel in Oslo. ISG 299 euro per hour sound okay?? Send me a message man and come say hi.... Bring friends ;)
@@BjornarKnutsen cheers mate, does sound good but I’ll have too see how my year is planning out. It’s been a long while since we have caught up or been there. So def intriguing indeed mate
Amazing!
Hi, thanks for the video !! I would like to know the name of the program that shows the airflow as the atlhete moves. It is amaizing!!!!
It's called wind tunnel, but unfortunately it looks like they dont have it on the App Store anymore.
@@downunderdynamics thanks for your help!!
Ok, is that a Cookie helmet Mason is wearing? Digging the graphic/color...
@@OZONEJUNKIE yep, new cookie helmet with the new graphics they are now doing
@@downunderdynamics Thanks! Yeah, looks awesome! Love the flying, love the channel 🔥🔥🔥
@@OZONEJUNKIE Thank you. I'll try to keep it up.
Hello! where can I look at the rules of the competition to better understand what is happening?
bodypiloting.com I have a rule book on there in PDF.
Top flying - I'm inspired
AWESOME😊
Awesome event. Well done
As someone who’s relatively new to tracking, these videos are a huge help. Thanks for posting them!
Thank you for all the videos.)
Not trying to be a smart A** but a radius measures from the circles center. The diameter of the circle is 4 miles. The radius is 2 miles.
Loving the coaching vids mate. Keep em coming.
Get a blinking haircut 🎉
😂
Camera work at 1:16 is incredible guys, love it!
Such a nice content, mate. Thx 4 sharing ✌️🚀
Oh my fu**ing god.... Great format! This is a really really useful video! Thank you a loooot!!! 🙏🙏🙏
3:23 and you just see a plant skydiving 😆
Great videos! Thanks a lot.
Some great insight! Thanks for sharing!
Muito bacana. Pena que por mais que a gente treine indoor, em um salto real na atmosfera as coisas são um pouco diferentes. O movimento do ar influencia bastante. Mas considero o treino indoor uma atividade extra fundamental para quem ama o paraquedismo.
Love it. I just got my knees back in the wind at my local tunnel after a 2 year layoff from skydiving due to moving and so I'm starting at IBA level 1 and I needed a good refresher. Excellent tips. This is gonna help this Sunday!
Just came back to this again. my arch sucks. HA! I need yoga in my life or something.
Fantastic, except that Center of Gravity is not the same as lowest point of body. For instance moving your arms back will of course move C.G. towards your feet not towards your chest. What is more important is that Center of Drag moves even more as arms are light but have big surface area.
Excellent, thank you for putting it that way as well. I'll add that to the explanations in future. much appreciated.
Great video, thanks.
Love these tutorials! Crazy detailed and easy to understand! I'm going to ifly once a month through the winter to get ready for my AFF course next summer!.
Great concept with live commentary.
Love it when you do these videos!!!!! Please keep them coming as often as possible. They have helped me tremendously with tweaking my skills along with being a great resource when helping others coming along in the sport.
Cheers mate, thank u very much. there will def be more.
This was awesome. Thank you
Great explanation thank you so much i have fear a bit from back flight to not control my self and mis control that makes me a bit more confident i hope to share more about how to not feel uncomfortable
Dude your videos are great! This is so informative & I really appreciate the content. I love the safety awareness that you are bringing out in these videos, I definitely had some light bulbs go off in my head & connecting more of the puzzle pieces. 🤙🏽😎
