Bane is probably my favorite Batman villain, it's so criminal we get so few standard/classic comic style Bane figures. I'm super glad Mcfarlane put out a normal comic Bane figure, absolutely love it. Only other Bane I have in the scale is the Storm Collectibles Injustice Bane and while that one has some things it does better, the Mcfarlane one has the look I've always wanted in a Bane figure. Would like to see Mcfarlane tackle Bane's Arkham looks, especially the origins look.
@sosmog2407 I'll have to track down a comic shop and look into it. The last time I set foot in one must have been at least 25 years ago. There was one in small shopping center on my way to work, but just last week I noticed it's no longer there.
I gotta say I think the DCUC Bane scales way way better with McFarlane Batman than the McFarlane Bane does. That's why I passed on it. Bane is supposed to be huge, granted. 6'8, 350lbs. Batman is 6'2 I believe. So a 6 inch height difference. The McFarlane Bane would be like 9 feet tall! They just look silly beside each other imo, he looks like an Ogre or something, not even human. Great vid, thanks for the comparison!
Bane would be around 7'4 at this scale (roughly 1:10). Very tall, yes, but possible. I've compared it to Fezzic and Bane is a bit shorter; Andre the Giant was 7' (some sources claim 7'4, but 7' seems to be more accurate) so the scale is more or less right.
@@terone Ok so I exaggerated a little... hehe. But yeah 7'4 is 8 inches taller than he should be, that's a lot. Add in his monstrous proportions and for me anyway, he's just too far out of scale. Otherwise, I like the sculpt, should have fist hands though as many have said. If the DCUC Bane had modern articulation, he would be close to perfect I think. His skin looks better than McFarlane version also.
@@sirmustardofhousemayonnais9907 it’s no contest, McFarlane’s has the details, the size, and a way better price than the Mattel connects, especially on the after market
@@firstnamenlastnameyou're right, it is no contest. One is comic accurate and one looks like an oversized abomination based on turd midfartlames fanart. The dcuc has better paint, better sculpt, better articulation and is in a better more accurate scale. The midfarlane doesn't even have a bicep cut and it can't pose at all. hey Jccccc you getting the new mcfarlane hush batman? i think your top 10 batman list is going to change a lot with all these new mcfarlane releases, new mr freeze also looks nice
I wanted the mega one but then got a good look at the mask and it was grey not white. Lost a customer maybe i will get the collect one or wait until a new figure drops.
I have the Mcfarlane Bane great figure got him on Anazon for $40. I got him on a shelf next to the BAF Atrocitous and my newest figure the diamond select Beta Ray Bill they look great together. I also have over 90 Mcfarlane DC figures so I know where my collection is.
Also, the dcuc bane is more simple and clean in design. It looks exactly like bane in in knightfall, but the McFarlane bane looks like it was based off someone's fanart.

I love the DCUC line, and have a few of them, hoping to add to it, also, but that McFarlane Bane is also one of my all time favorite figures.

Sold the mattel one years ago. It was a great toy for the time, but this new Mcfarlane one looks badass!
It looks stupid

I love both but i feel like the upcoming mafex one will be the definitive one.
I have both too, but I feel the Mafex one will be way to small. I still prefer this DC Universe classics Bane.
The DC direct BANE is the holy grail
I believe the DCUC one still holds up in a classic Knightfall comic book Bane kinda way…
Are you going to pick up the mcfarlane knight fall catwoman

Great video
Would you ever review more Halo figures?
The Tom Hardy bane will be coming out this year from McFarlane with nolan Batman, two face and scare crow.
Do we know the release date? I'm interested in buying Two-Face.
@@Facade953 I haven’t heard anything of a date.

McFarlane Bane is better than the DCUC version.
Maybe in sculpt ,but not in scale

No, there's too much going on with McFarlane one and the sculpt isn't better than dcuc.

Yo
I hate how expensive DCUC is now
Its expensive because its better
Very fartworthy comparison of non Tom banes.👌
