Thank you for watching! The purpose of the kiln is to allow the glass to cool very, very slowly. This process is called annealing and increases the strength and durability of the glass :)

thanks for sharing a new way for me to try legs on the turtles, I have been making them way too thin. will try this technique today. have you done any insects?
@@metaphysicalcreation I dont have much confidence for the bee but I will continue the turtles haha! the only thing i really struggled on were the feet. when i pressed the feet they went all kinds of crazy ways.
@@metaphysicalcreation I will have to take a look at that one. The only trouble I am having is my feet are difficult to position forward, they point backwards when i press them.

What are those tongs you use at the end? I only have the kind with all the little wires and i really dont like it for little stuff
