    I am so impressed with Brodey. Pure confidence and concentration. Good work on teaching the skills , supporting and encouraging this trait in your dogs. They are fine creatures.

    Slow & steady. The bull still walking back. Look at the delicate foot work of the collie. Wow! This collie is priceless!

      Bulls are gentle giants. Just bad handling makes them 'aggressive'

    • @XxShellyW13xX
      @XxShellyW13xX 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Nyxolotl I beg to differ. Handling has nothing to do with it and you obviously know nothing about cattle, bulls in particular. I had a Holstein bull that I raised from a calf. Only reason I even bothered to keep him was because his dam was my highest producer on DHI testing, and she was AI bred to a bull out of a line of high producers that also scored high in Conformation. This young bull was raised like any other young stock but was kept with steers. When he was of age I turned him in with heifers of breeding age for the Summer. When it was well into fall, they were being fed silage/hay. I took out a 5 gallon bucket of loose minerals, always keeping my eye on that bull. Hand raised or not, you never, ever, ever take your eyes off of them. For a split second, I was working my way out of the heifers at the feeder and he got me. Just that split second. He had me down on the ground in a heartbeat, with him down on his knees, I was on my stomach, and he was grinding his head into my back. I was screaming, trying to wriggle out from under him. My Border Collie heard me screaming, and came ripping into that bull, drawing his attention away from me and onto the dog. I managed to get up, and I tried to run to the barn. That dog kept working that bull into circles. THE BULL WAS ONLY PLAYING. I was able to call the dog off and into the barn. I stood there, shaking, in shock, my mind trying to process the betrayal of that bull. He came up to the barn door, a split door, and I punched him right in his snotty, dirty nose. He bellered and backed away. I spent the night in the hospital. Fortunately for me, no broken bones, but a lot of soft tissue damage that still affects me today, and this happened 35 years ago. As for the bull? When I got out of the hospital and got home, first thing I did was called my hauler and had him sent to South St. Paul stockyards. He was tagged as a killer. Campbell's Soups bought him. Good riddance.
      PS: now you know what the beef is in your beef soups and TV dinners. Arby's roast beef. It's bull meat and canner cows. Another words, beef so tough it has to be pressure cooked in order to be able to use it in their processing.
