I see so many 100+ mil might solo traps at this days and this doesn't makes sense for me. They also always have a mix of t2 and t3. One of our players also hitted a trap like this with T2 T3 mix and 10.6 mil troops (about 94m might). He doesn't have champ gear or mystic but he killed 430k troops on the first hit and defeated 1 mil in total. And yes the trap was in war gear.
I'm pretty sure that are all people who used their main T3 account to make a Trap because they saw how fun it is.
Guys, if you want make a trap you need a new account who is build just for this, you will have way too much might and don't try t2 and t3 mix, that looks pretty useless.

That depends on what trap you want to be. If you want to eat anything back to back. You need that t1 front line. These days you need alter and prisoner boost. You wouldn't believe the difference. You will be around 90mil might but you can take hits all day long

Heres what u do, t1 frontline inf and cav and use 10 mill t2 archers. The archers will decimate the enemy before they can wound all of your frontline. Plus u need better gear and better jewels for your gear.
10m t2 is 80m alone, with the other troops you would need and base might from other buildings and research you would be a high might for a trap, you wouldn't be getting too many solos.

Before these new p2p updates i was able to trap t4 players (full gold champ and 3x 11k heros) while i was in monster hunting gear with no jewels. But right now i am unable to cap anyone anymore even with my good gear on (310% for all around) I even ate a 1.4mil rally on me once.... its so sad. i have to tweak my comp now but thats super costly. If you want to have a look in my account ill gladly lend you the logins. meaby give me some tips.

the best is to make a front line t3 .. look at your example of rally vs 1m3 you were help with t4 but it was completely useless because the IGG mechanics target first the weakest troops so the t2 while if you had a front line t3 + reinfo t3 you ate this rally without any worries
T3 frontline will be too much might for the amount of troops you would need. And although the T4 were not targeted they did attack so they were not usless. I forgot that I had those there tbh.

i run the t1 set up and i make it work but i only use it because it's a poor mans trap and i dont have the speeds or rss to keep it up but if any other updates come out like mythic heroes which many seem to think are coming then maybe il switch but it hasnt failed me yet (: but t2 is definately better for those bigger hits

Nice info ;).. was he online when he take those hits.. because if was, he would heal from the 1st hit.. 2nd hit prove to me that he wasnt online because his infirms where filled:).. he needs better gear:)

hey Prince , i have 1mil inf T2 , 2 mil archer and cav T1 and i use all my gear with blue , purple and some gold jewel.. can i take a hit from full march T4 guya with gold gear?
Can I replace 5m t1s with 1.5m T2 ? Same damage despite bigger might ?

I don't see why T1 is bad mathematically, is rather have 35m might worthy of T1s in a trap then a mix with T3 as 500 might worth of T1 will always beat 500 worth of T3 as well as 100m might worth of T1 (50m T1 troops) would still be stronger than 100m might worth of T3s because there's just too many troops
Edit: keep in mind T3 is 3x stronger than T1 therefore if you have 4 T1 it will beat the 1 T3, I forgot how much might T3 is but let's say it's 18 for 1, working with that might you can substitute that 1 T3 for 9 T1s, that's how I look at it
I understand that based on troop vs troop. but your missing the variable. Gear jewels heroes etc. It's this that makes the T1 frontline weak.
I did try it before 20 t1 troops attacked 1 t3 troop... the t3 troop survive or vice versa.
Also the t1 defender/attacker was on war gear and the t3 attacker/defender was on construction/ research ( i did some experiments).
That's only technically correct on paper
What about T3 kind trap for more future as 100m might is a common these days
To make enough T3 to be an effective front line it's too much might and costly to heal. 100m will be rolled but better to make it lower in my opinion.
I had a t3 trap check my TH-cam. They're hella fun! It got zeroed bc i was offline sadly. I'm trying t1 trap now
The example you gave had shit inf gear, and we cant see what heroes he used. With bit better inf gear, no troops would have walked back.

Yeh two gold inf heroes and gear makes a ton of difference. Also, why would you sit around and try trap whales with mythic gear and 11k heroes, the risk aint worth it, theyll rally your ass anyway to get the hero back if you capped it. Just migrate to a healthier kingdom and you can go with a t1 front line a while to go.
Can you help me to build rally trap true line if possible ? Becozz i strugle with frontline and wich troops i need for solo or rally trap

I wanted to ask How many t3 troops do you think would be required to be un-soloable?
My mixed stats are about 250%.
And for the sake of this q, lets say the t4 player is about 300mil with purple gear.
At least 500k each
for the frontline I would say 1.2m but it's too much might.

Samuli Auvinen your grunts would be targeted first which will get destroyed quickly

I still think t1 traps will work if you have enough. The guy you talking has 12m troops what if he had 20m each t1 that’s 60m troops surely that’s enough to cap a full titan player

T1 can work if you have good army max hp
It's still very risky
Can work if you have good infantry hp.. focus on infantry and range gears..
Ik it's risky but if you can trap weaker players that's good you don't need to be trapping brngchong type players
War talents off + no attack boosts + crap heroes + scout reports + being offline = that tragedy
