belos has the richest backstory of all toh characters. a human who was lost in a magic world for so long that he eventually can't even be considered human anymore is a cool concept.
If you had to describe Emperor Belos/Phillip Whitebane’s character in a nutshell I think it definitely would be “righteous hand of God/Devil that you forgot”
An interesting inversion of how this song is usually used. In most cases the people wronged the drifter and they came for revenge. Philip undoubtedly thinks this is true and he’s the hero of this story, brushing aside his cruelty against others because he’s justified no matter how innocent they are. Magic is evil, therefore cruelty against it isn’t a sin. He believes he’s the hand of god, when in reality he’s just a monster
idk, I was kinda shocked to find people hated him, I always saw him as the villian rype with a sympathetic backstory in a way tho that could be because I know how it feels when the people who care about you, leave you for someone else. I always felt bad for Belos, if only someone undrstood his pain he could definitely be redeemeable

I still don’t understand why Philip’s ears are pointed instead of round like luz’s, that seems like a pretty important detail. Also same thing with Hunter. You would think Philip would want to make Hunter with rounded ears because I would imagine that he wouldn’t want his brother to be associated with witches all that much Edit: nvm
Yeah sounds you didn’t have a good time. The Great Wolf Lodge I go to is great though! The rooms are far away from the louder center halls where the kids play the Magic game, the water park is clean and loads of fun, and there’s decent restaurant there. It’s not perfect but my visit have always been nothing but pleasant. Maybe it’s a location thing? I just think people should give Great Wolf Lodge a chance, some locations are amazing, and others, from what u say aren’t XD
