Agreed. I have waterproof light hikers and definitely needed the next size up. (Women's size 9 wide.)

A great review of your ice cleats. I have some similar but they don't have that useful strap to put across the top of your foot. I might need them tomorrow, rain overnight changing to freezing rain tomorrow and getting colder. Thanks for sharing.
For us that strap makes all the difference in the world! I don't know if it is how we walk, but the cleats without the straps kept coming off and was really annoying. Never happened with the strapped ones! Thanks so much for watching and I hope you stay safe out there on the ice! Freeing rain can wreak havoc in so many ways!

They work in mud too...
I choose the bottoms on these because hey work on any ground type and are also good for the spring when you here when there is a little bit of everything to step on: rocks, ice, mud, snow, etc. Thanks for watching :-)

Man, you can play hockey on that driveway. It used to be that only old people were buying such products. Now, they are becoming popular with everyone. We’re have snow here in Canada that are more like studs that bite into the ice. Those seem to work best. Be safe on that ice.

these look very useful . I dont specifically have these but i do use/have ice cleats. A lot of falls or slips could be avoided by wearing them. These or similar ones would also aid in pushing/shoveling snow as you can push more without sliding on the snow. IMHO these should part of everyone's winter gear layout especially for places that get a lot of freeze and thaw cycles or see freezing rain. No pun intended , but there's a lot of down time when people fall( pain, sore, broken bones or sprains and learning to do normal tasks differently(off hand, on crutches) which in turn can effect one's work or school performance.
Ice cleats are good too. There are many different kinds, some are better for different uses, but they are all made to keep us from slipping! Great in my book! True about the down time.....and we have NO time for that! Have .a great day.

@@CreatingASimplerLifeOffGrid, absolutely! Used them in our dirt bike tires with an inner tube during winter months when the lakes froze. Ice -fishing- drinking, sleds/snowmobiles, dirt bikes, grilling in the shanties, etc. Lol. Was a lot of fun racing up and down the lake all day on weekends hanging out with people.
