Thank you so much for watching and following along. I have such a blast bringing new content to you and am always open to chatting, so feel free to reach out anytime!

Way simpler inside than I expected. NICE!
In the middle of the video I wanted to tell you that Bryan did a video of how to put that scale on without the washer flying to the magnet, but you figured it out on your own! Good job! I've been trying to get up the nerve to put in the stronger detent magnet on mine but now I feel a little more confident after watching your video! Thanks!
Where do you get a stronger magnet?
@@happytadpole9784 It was included in with my Factor (batch 2). If you don't have one you should get in touch with Bryan Winters & I'll bet he will send you one
@@heavyweightsound Ah, gotcha, thanks! I got a Batch 3, but it didn't come with any 🤷♂️
@@happytadpole9784 I could be wrong but I think batch 3 already has the stronger magnet installed
@@heavyweightsound Oh, that would make sense. I was actually pretty surprised with the strength of the detent as it was, I just didn't know if there were even stronger ones. Thanks 👍
Still patiently waiting for mine on the batch 2
Still most most anticipated upcoming release
I love that breakdown mat
Thanks. Its custom made by Lancelot Leather
olight magnet for the win.... i do the same thing with mine
5mm 1/16th FTW! Thanks Kev!
Thank u for the videos this one is great I’m about to get one of these and ur videos give me the confidence to take apart and ya going to take apart and put skiffs in as soon as I get it Thank You for ur time and knowledge….
Thanks Clint. Keep in mind mine is a Batch 1. Urs may be a Batch 2 which has more removable magnets. Make sure to watch Winterblades own video on it before disassembling.
A year or so ago I found a lost pivot screw under the fridge in the kitchen. Had looked for it for three days until I bought one of those magnet tools from Amazon. Awesome little tool.
Man That is one of my grails!
Waiting on my Mirage.
I just got a batch 2 factor ,hope’s are hi can’t wait till it gets here.
Awesome
Hey we have the same color combo factor, except my little pivot and flipper arm is grey..I’m glad u did this, I didn’t want to take this thing apart 😂..gunna throw some skiffs in it now
Yea wasnt so bad and feels way better
lmaoo i took this f*cker apart to add the stronger detent magnet when i first got mine and lemme tell you hwhat. Felt like i was doing rocket science, the most stressful 2 hours of my life, 3 if you count the 1 hour break i took in between, that thang is staying put for eternity
🤣
Wow I thought it was gonna be pain to take it apart, looked pretty easy. Cant wait next drop. Just curious if you had to pick 1 mirage or factor an why?
Factor. Blade shape and not assisted
Mine won't swing open unless I use gravity. I just can't get it to pop open fully with the finger press. I have to push it supe hard and eve, and then it might not open all the way. I bought mine used but barley used, and I'm starting to get a little worried. I don't know what to do to get a nice opening

If you have a batch 2 factor do not follow this tutorial 🤣 also always disassemble this knife with the blade closed.
Whats ur theory on the blade closed thing? This knife or any knife?
@LeftyEDC on batch 2 the carbon side scale is two pieces with magnets sandwiched between them. If you remove all 4 screws with the blade open. Six magnets will fly out and stick together 🤔 Figuring out where they go and polarity is a learning experience. Keeping the blade closed helps the magnetics stay in place because they are attracted to the blade.
@@DangRoss they should be marked
@@DangRoss i changed the title to say batch 1. Thanks!
Ohh yea and Thanks for all the dissemble video’s Kevin 🫡👍 super helpful with a bunch of my purchases
