This is the best video I have seen on this product. Most videos talk a lot, but do not show the actual assembly and install. The only thing I would add were the size of the drilling bits used to make the holes. Thanks Much!! This was awesome.
there's a screen on the exterior cap. 15 amp outlet. it's a very low power draw. the fan is essential for odour, as I found out during a power outage....
I plan on install this toilet on a platform that slides in and out to conceal it inside a wall when not in use. So for that I would have to replace those hoses for some or flexible since they will move around every time I slide the toilet in and out. What type of hose would you recommend?
Hello Gregory, Thank you for reaching out with your question. The Separett Tiny toilets come with a 90 degree ventilation elbow that attaches to the bottom back left of the toilet. The opening to this elbow is 2". So a flexible hose that is 2" would work. You would want to make certain that it was attached securely and designed to withstand the movement of sliding the toilet in and out. Please note that the more bends you include into the venting the more resistance the airflow will have. I would advise making the venting only as long as is needed. If you would like help with product selection please email sales@thecabindepot.com and we would be happy to help. Thank you
Hi Arya - the Separett Villa style venting is a flush mount with louvers to prevent the rain from coming in, but the pipe diameter is larger than the one used on the Tiny. Right now there's nothing 'flush mount' offered for this specific model, but because the piping is a standard size customers can usually source accessories including vent terminations as most hardware stores. I hope that helps!

Hi Gregory, I'm planning to do the same thing, I was curious to see if you installed it in that way successfully, Thank you.
Do you make or know of a shallower vent cap so it does not protrude much out of a Van side wall?

What size fuse should I use for the fan?
The fan motor is 12v and rated at just 1.6W, so a 3A fuse is all that's required.
Thanks so much, I took my best uneducated guess and went with 3A. So that’s great! :)
