      @@SANJUFVRoffl fear of falling, breaking your neck, or arm, really a lot of things can happen, I’ve also had a mental block when I was first learning it but I just tried it with a spotter and I was able to do it with some practice.

    a tip just to make your backhandspring look better is to start with your feet together and keep them together the whole time because you jump off of one foot. if you jump off of both you will have so much more power and it will look nicer

      Ya also instead of starting with a back walkover, start with a back limber
      It has more of a backhand spring shape so it’s easier

      Great job i remember how hard it was it took about a year and a half, then I had to make it perfect now i can be and round off back hand spring back tuck no doubt you will get there so soon

    I got so much inspiration from this that I just grabbed a bunch of pillows, and started doing back handsprings. I had my back handspring then lost is after I fell out of it doing a round off back handspring and blocked in the back handspring. This video really motivated me. 😃😃

    I'm a Gymnast and cheerleader....trust me keep practicing everyday, or whenever u gave time, trust me, I did that everyday to give away my manta blocks and to make it better, now I'm not scared to throw it, and it's alot better, only took 2 years, but it was worth it, Keep ur head up and practice it! Never give up!

    I find this super inspiring there was something that I noticed that bothered me just a bit and it was the fact the the mat was upsidown. Side note I had to come over many fears to get where I am today I’m a level 10 gymnast and seeing how much effort you put into this is awesome!!😄 you will inspire a lot of people keep up the good work!!

    Just letting you know girl. I am a level 10. What you did was awesome! You did the right drills and everything! To get straighter legs and knees put a scrunchie around them. For arms do some push-ups for upper body strength although you have it, and push up in the back handspring. Love you!

      You should upload some videos about gymnastics I have a mental block I tryed a back handspring with a spotter it was going good but then I had to try it by myself then hit my head so hard that made me not want to do it again and I'm struggling with learning my back limber that's what I need to learn it.

    I used to do a backhand spring and back tuck and a lot of stuff I was a level 6 gymnast but recently I broke my foot and with have to do this journey again but never give up on dreams you want to accomplish

    I know this video is super old, but I could never attempt a back handspring! Never! And now I think I can anyone that sees this comment never give up, give it your all, and you will succeed! I believe in everyone that try’s no matter what! And thanks to you I think I’m going to learn my back handspring because I have learned not to be afraid and keep trying!💗

    I'm a dancer and it took me 2 years to perfect a back handspring and a roundoff back handspring. I used to practise 40 minutes a day. Trust me keep practising and you'll can do really good. Ngl when i first got my back handspring I had horrible technique.

      Here are some tips this is how i did it
      1:Get on ur bed stack 5 pillows
      2:Pratice throwing yourself
      3:Swing your arms soo hard so you go back
      4:Dont be scared bc the pillows will help you from getting injured so just go for it bc it wont hurt a single bit
      5:DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES
      6:do 40 sit ups,20 pushups,And do a lot of backbends every day bc you need a lot of arm strenght for it
      7:I hope you get it Dont give up Just go for it💜🌸

    Some tips are to when going in sitting position sit up dont lean over 3:38 Also you need to jump before bending your back 3:42 . 3:43 fully commit to the jump you are half committing.Try to pop your hands off the ground to land good. 3:46 straighten your arms and push off the ground like in a roundoff.

    How do you almost jump? For me, it’s either don’t jump at all, or go all out. I still don’t have my back handspring

    This gave me the shivers because I have worked on this skill for so long and you have inspired me to try by myself. Edit I got my round off backhand spring so I have it now it took 2 very long years but I got it during quarantine! I made a TH-cam video 9n my channel too xcel gymnast or fun with Sadie I changed the name so it might not show up!

    Thank you very much! But what? I have been struggling to learn backhandspring for a long time and watched a lot of tutorial videos on the topic but it didn't work out. All videos presented the same way. I was looking for a video where someone would learn by themselves. There were a dozen of these, but I learned with YOURS in half an hour! Thanks! ❤❤❤

    I have a few tips on getting a stronger back handspring.
    1. When you start, make sure your feet are together.
    2. Bend down a little more to get some more power
    3. Make sure your toes are pointed and legs are together even when you jump back.
    4. Always believe you can do it
