I learned my backhand spring no too long ago but I had to quit tumbling classes for a few weeks. I came back yesterday and couldn’t do it. I would sit back then catch myself, too scared to do it. I think it was because I’ve fallen on my head before but it was so frustrating. I hope the is video helps next Wednesday!!

Heyy läise!! So yeah that’s actually really common & 100% normal, but to avoid pain in your hands really make sure you warm up/stretch those wrists very well & that feeling will go away!! 💞

Try breaking it down and go with it one by one like it’s just another backhands
i'm able to do a backhandspring, but it hurts in my hands and back when i do it on grass. do you have tips? :)
