Tamil cinema hasn't seen an actress who is as talented as simran in the last 2 decades. Sai pallavi comes closest to her, but even she suits only certain types of roles. Simran, on the other hand was exceptional in all kinds of roles.
Seriously this is the most honest comment. Even I think Sai Pallavi is the closest to Simran's greatness but her shortcoming is that Simran was extremely versatile. On one hand, she can be the most glamarous actress on par with her Hollywood counterparts of that era. On the other hand, she can easily dissappear into any character driven roles so much so you forget that she was a superstar of that era. ❤ Btw I love both Simran and Sai Pallavi as well. ❤❤
