i cant thank you enough for this video. I realised I've been making alot of these mistakes without even realising it. Im hardstuck d2. u literally u were so right about everything, 1. I force buy a guardian every round, because i tilt alot. 2. I also tend to become detached from the game when i lose to a stupid round i start surrendering. I get tilted and start running it down. 3. I play ALOT of games to the point where i become exhausted. again tilt queuing. 4. i rarely vod review at all. 5. I tend to push alone alot, not playing with teammates. 6. I only lock duelists. 7. poor sleep. 8. i always get demotivated because i whiff shots. I always think my aim is holding me back. 9. I tend to shift walk some angles, but also i tend to forget about angle advantage(enemy can see me and i cant see them) and should slice the pie instead of slow walk peeking.

Solid tips. As for me, I ranked up from Gold to Ascendant 2 from September 1 to October 1. That's 1 month. However, I have 200hrs of gameplay of swift game.
Here's the tips I could give you.
1. Positive Mindset
2. Do not fill, learn your best agent per map and 1 meta pick.
3. If the game becomes very difficult, you're possibly tilting, after the game, do VOD review
4. Aim train
5. If you're on 3rd game of losing streak, give it up for the day.
6. Watch pro games, the live ones. Watch the game however focus mainly on the mini map. This way, you'll understand how the high elo game works resulting to a better game sense.
7. Just enjoy the game.

Another tip that goes under the rug is to eat healthy and work out. It's an extremely underrated tip since everyone assumes video games are a lazy activity and your health doesn't matter when it's the exact opposite. Valorant and games like it are mind games. Better body, better mind.

I was rlly close to asc 1 last episode. I realized I had to work on a lot of things micro-wise. It all starts with comms, util usage, abusing timings and isolating gunfights. We can all assume that everyone who hits diamond has great raw aim and decent enough util usage to get value out of it.

Im not joking when I say this. But since 28th April to 19th May (2am) I played 101 games.
Mid way I was 1 game off Ascendant 1, demoted to Diamond 1 soon after, climbing my way but up teaching me the basics and advanced stuff again.
Now on the 98th game, I was legit 1 game from Ascendant 1, and I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY THIS. LIKE READ THIS BIT PLEASE.
98th game, the promo game, I had an afk 4 rounds in. We lost, and I was like "surely this can't happen again... right?" Wrong.
99th game, I have 2 teammates highly toxic, not coordinating as a team, and refusing to do game plans. Happens though.
100th game, LEGIT AGAINST A CHEATER. NOT JOKING. This dude was literally wallhacking and we were on Fracture, which just made it even more stressful. A whole game of hide and seek.
101st game, my mental was ruined and I was practically giving up. After-all I climbed back to D3-Promo-to-A1, and I lost it. This game, I had; Toxic teammates and trolling. Unwinnable.

Discord Server was a lost cause. Never really became active. 20+ members and nobody really spoke, so I lost the passion for it.
Peaked Ascendant-1 last Act and was somewhat climbing, but I started to lose over and over once summer heat hit. This caused me to stop playing the game at all.
When the new act started, I played it almost everyday since, and over 40 games on Deadlock. Currently Plat-3 with over 60rr. Managed to find why I wasn't winning my games and started to pay more detail to my mistakes, and so we are going back to Diamond. Then I will fix more mistakes, then Ascendant.
I believe one of the reasons I began losing previous act was due to my aim (at least half of it) as I had "on the fly dpi adjustments" enabled on my mice. So the DPI would randomly go from 1600 DPI to 1650 - 1700 - 1750. 2 days ago I saw it at 1800 and disabled it. Now rolling with 0.138x1600.

As someone who is from ascendant 1 and recently gone on a red carpet to plat 3 in less than a week, I can say having multiple roles won't really help you that much. I can play literally any role properly, and still mid-top frag with in diamond-plat lobbies and still lose..
Well I mean if you are a one trick pony you won’t be able to do much if someone auto locks your role so yea multiple roles will help, especially in higher elos, your problem wouldn’t be that you can only play one role it is something else, however lots of peoples problem will be they can only play one role, remember this is for everyone not just one person 🙏
