This is the fifth episode of Victoria Wood's "Acorn Antiques" (from "As Seen On TV", 1985). Berta (Victoria Wood) has amnesia - and manages to expose herself to the camera... More episodes coming!
I have admired Victoria Wood for years, sometimes the word genius can be overused or misrepresented definitely not in this case. Her writing, her observation, her comedy, I have always been in awe of, her talent is exceptional. In her writing, its not just the visual, its the understanding of language, the muesli moment in this vid, that is comedy genius to even think of that. Victoria Wood was amazing at whatever she did, I miss her & her talent so much
How we laughed at this, and almost counted the days to the next episode (Hill Street Blues and Soap as well!). Kenny Ireland was a talented comedy actor, and will be much missed.
Julie Walters is so hilarious and her West Bromwich/ Birmingham accent makes it even funnier! Those closing credits are such a good send up of Crossroads!
Ooh don’t know her name but the tea lady , is she also the crazy eccentric mom of Brenda on DinnerLadies ? Blondie is for sure the Canteen supervisor on Dinner Ladies .
‘‘Twas it muesli “ greatest line 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love watching Mrs O walking on the back of that wedding dress train. Nice pants Victoria!!!!!
That camera angle is classic! And I believe Victoria stuffed her pants, as a bonus...LOL!
Love how Duncan Preston takes off Ronald Allen's ham acting 🤣🤣🤣

The look of embarrassment on her face after she says "What was it muesli" is priceless!

Just a different opening. Same intro woman and all that, just different lines. Strange.
