We’re almost the same squad we finished the cup game with. Basically we’ve signed Kasper. The only upgrade from last year. I hope Brendan gets the quality we need to freshen the squad up
Brendan has contacts from down south so must be good when trying to convince players to come North,(no easy task) there .
I agree ryan If it’s a loan with an option to buy then great but if not then i think we as fans need to question why with all that money are we not just outright buying a left back, do we not have the funds?

You mean the shareholders that helped save the club by investing in it when it needed them? I personally have seen no dividend.
Paddy a lot of the smaller shareholders reinvest their dividends back in team unlike most of the board, Desmond is one of the worst and takes every penny this is one of the reasons they do not want to spend our money it's to make massive profit's and bonuses for themself's.
Pretty sure Celtic has never paid dividends to anyone.

A football club has the legal form of a ltd company or a plc but the reality is that they are not for profit organisations where the ideal profit is zero. All profits are ploughed back into the team. As probs the only Celtic & wolves fan just sadly a deal I don’t see happening as I don’t see wolves wanting to play Matt Doherty more in the year of 2024 in the premier league.
Also don’t see it being agreed to how Celtic would most likely want with a buy option as he’s a promising player who could be the one to take over from Ait Nouri who was arguably the best LB in the prem last season so won’t be long left.
So with all that said just a difficult loan deal to sort unless wolves get linked with a loan LB or experienced LB themselves.
