I like the solos. You don't often hear them in modern electronic music. Although a warm-up DJ in Tokyo (Nori) played an excellent solo over some house in one of his sets. In a club, it sounded fantastic! Hendrix has also been used I believe.

Thanks, guys - I found out only recently that Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock passed away in 2017 :( I bought this record of his when it came out in the '80s because I listened to it at the record store (in those times New Age / Ambient was popular) and loved it. I was always fascinated by it - the melodies, instrumentation, the descending / ascending synth lines with echo, the electric piano, the Mellotron choirs, Indian samples, fretless bass etc. Back in those days they used to put the instruments used in the back covers: Mellotron, DX7, OB-Xa, Minimoog, and several other things that formed the record. It's a beautiful, classic record!

Klaus Hoffman-Hoock died on saturday 14 october 2017..... hope he is in his Paradise!
