Hey guys! Teacher María here. So, there are some small errors that we were a little too late to correct. 😅
    0:39 - Detrás de - Behind
4:24 - Aquí está la ropa de mi mamá. - Here are my mom's clothes.
As you know, English is not my first language, so, I still drop the ball sometimes. 🤷‍♀😂 I hope this didn't cause any confusions but I'll be happy to respond to any questions in the comments. Thank you!

Detras de does mean behind. But in my mind I translated it as the time in the past or the time before so it still works. In other words the time behind us.

Im a new/intermediate spanish speaker and i find that she is speaking muy claro and at a pace thats not too fast. People that are complaining should practice listening to the language at normal speed. you'll catch on quicker eventually without slowing down. Shes actually speaking below an average speed. Great video.

I love this style and pace of teaching, if I think you are going to fast, I just hit the pause button and study. So while I am learning Spanish, I also get to watch the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.... Double bonus for me.

Hi Maria. Your video is so helpful. To be honest, I knew most of this from bits of information here and there. To have it all explained in a way that's easy to understand though is priceless. I would say that I would have been correct about 95 percent of the time but I'd be totally confused in some situations but It all makes sense now. I've subscribed so that I never lose you. Your help is much appreciated and I wish you and your loved ones all the best.

Another great video! You are are one of the few instructors on TH-cam that breaks down the grammar rules in a way that is easy to understand with examples.
What are some other ways to practice Spanish immersion in addition to reading books?
    Gracias!

So glad you liked it! I really appreciate it. :) We created Lingo Mastery Plus to tackle this immersion from home issue. You can check it out here: www.lingomastery.com/plussp/ Other than that... I'd say small study groups to practice conversations.

    ¡Hola María!
I would like to ask in Spanish, one can say delante de or enfrente de.
On SpanishDict delante de is for things on the same side whereas enfrente de is for things on opposite sides (of the street for example).
I don't see a lot of people or resources mention this difference. Is this difference really there or are they actually interchangeable.
    Thank you for this lesson!

Hey Zera, the distinction is correct! You are "delante de mí" if I'm looking at your back, and "enfrente de mí" if I'm looking at your face :) hope this helps clarifying!

You have great content but it would be more effective if you didn’t rush through it; especially since you are advertising the title as for “Beginners.”

    • @ryanfelder9989

There is a slow down feature on youtube. Use that to learn it and take notes. Then come back at listen to it at natural speed and speed it up to get used to hearing Spanish at the speed that it is actually spoken. It helps me a lot to strengthen my hearing.
