I’d like to see what you could do with human colonization of another planet from the point of view of an intelligent alien species native to that planet that is so far removed from what we expect life to look and behave like that the human settlers don’t even recognize the aliens as a life form.

i'm so glad i found your channel P.E. Rowe.
I've never seen anyone EVER represent autistics and psychopaths as protagonists. (Also, trauma survivors who have become functionally autistic or psychopath.) And really try to express the process of making human connections for that group.
I've come to realize; the majority are functionally linear. Always trying to make the longest connections between point A and point B that they can. I call this group 'linear people'
The autistics, psychopaths, I call 'the disruptors' because they move in a variety of non-linear directions.
The psychopaths often zigzag in a forward direction.
The autistics often move in any direction, sometimes circles, sometimes backwards.
The trauma survivors often used to be linear people who are now stalled or moving non-linear.
For my part, the distinction has let me forgive the linear people for not being patient, or sometimes kind to the disruptors.
I don't think they can sometimes. They need to always get back on track as quickly as they can.
And they're trying to get everyone else on track.
I'm high functioning but extremely autistic. So, i move in any direction the muse takes me. I've learned, through trial and error, to move my own way and get out of the way of the linear people when they need to move in their straight lines. They have a right to their path too.
So, most important about your work to me; is I've never seen anyone try to express how the disruptors and the linear people can try to get along together and (at least functionally) understand each other.
You're work is very constructive writing and very human. It giv3s the perspective more like a journey together than an unnecessary conflict

Thanks, Jason! That means a lot 🙏 I'm of the mind as both a writer and person that all types of people (and therefore characters) are/can be interesting and important, and that it's the writer's job then to recognize the context in which that happens. Then it's a question of being respectful to the character (and thus the reader). That's the hope and the goal anyway. So glad you're enjoying my work 😃

that's maybe the greatest love story ever written...
let's don't bother comparing. There's more than a few out there. And, it's subjective :)
it is for sure a very wise insight to the motivations of devotion, and companionship...
I can't think of anything better than a mouse and a robot enjoying sports night together. They both worked pretty hard and endured so much together to be able to enjoy that 'little pleasure'

I heard the prequel an hour ago. Now hearing this I think you may be the writer in this time who will be referred to as the greatest science fiction writer of the time. The feeling I have now is similar to one I had nearly 60 years ago when I started reading RA Heinlein’s writing. In some ways your writing makes me think of him first followed immediately by I Asimov. RAH for the depth of character development even in an hour long short story and IA for the futuristic thinking. In case you are not moved by those two writers I consider this to be the best compliment I can give a writer in this genre. Then again, I am only a “reader”.
Thank you for sharing through your stories. You have just made my world a slightly more hopeful place.
