I truly think this is one of my favorite things you've ever made. The garnet inlay was stunning on the finished product. I love your work but this really felt next level to me.

I started taking classes full time last March on fine jewelry in general and probably 15% of that time was engraving. I'm finally feeling like I'm getting some real traction with it now. At first it was a bit discouraging lol

@@CoinRingsfromTheMint I think you are doing great. You’ve come a long way from using minimal tools making your first coin rings. I’m in Canada and have many Canadian pure silver quarters. I would love to try and make a ring. I need to buy the equipment because I don’t think my hands would last hammering in on the mandrel. I’ve done a couple of wax carvings and had them cast. I really enjoyed that. Full time course here would involve me driving to Toronto on a daily basis and that is an hour at best each way plus the cost of the course so I will learn mostly on my own. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work as mentioned you are doing great. Love all your videos.

Awesome graving! I have some Israeli coins with beautiful designs that were intricately cutout. None are silver or gold but I bet you could find some beautiful foreign coins, cut around the design leaving the outer edge of the coin and make some gorgeous pendants. Maybe even matching earrings. I'm a retired goldsmith and love to watch you work. I miss doing it myself.
