Shout out to Techmoan for opening my eyes to this organization.
Ditto that!
Pun intended?
Absolutely!! Arrived her from Techmoan as well. What a well constructed video breaking down what the organization does. How awesome that they make touch based smart phones. I would be so proud to work for a company like this.
same here
Inspirational!
Same here, Techmoan sent me. My grandma used materials from APH and NLS for many many years. I know the last decade or so of her life was greatly enriched by the work you did. I’m thrilled to see even more is being done to stay on top of current technological trends. Thank you so very much!
Thanks for sharing! We love hearing about how the work we do impacts lives.
Techmoan sent me here and I just wanted to say Thank You American Printing House, for the many great things that you do to make the lives of the visually impaired and the blind a much better place. Like almost all of the commenters on this page, I had no idea that APH even existed prior to receiving the link from Techmoan's video. It is only because of Techmoan, that I became aware of your great company. Please continue to develop new and engaging ways for our visually impaired members of society, so they may also have the luxury of reading magazines, books, and educational materials. It is so easy for us to take the simple things we have been gifted with (in this case sight) for granted. God Bless you American Publishing House, for making such a big difference in the lives of the visually impaired. Bravo! My hat is off to your organization!
Thanks, Fred! We really appreciate it :)
Came here from a Techmoan video, amazing work!
Thanks to Techmoan for highlighting the existence of an incredible organisation.
Techmoan brought me here! Love the work you do.
Amazing work guys. I had never heard of APH until Matt at Techmoan highlighted you in one of his video's.
Another Techmoan viewer here to congratulate APH for all the years of service they have provided to such a wonderful cause.
Techmoan sent me here! You do fantastic work.
This is what I call progress and actual, real benefit for humanity as a whole. This type of use of technology for making the world a better place should be how we as a society make use of our resources. Not this fast paced burning of resources for the sake of making money for a small fraction of humanity but rather making each life easier to live, even with disabilities.
And also, thanks to Techmoan for giving this awesome work of yours a platform.
Techmoan introduced me to you. This organisation should be in the UK too - very worthwhile cause
Our friends at the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) are based in the UK. You should check them out!
With all of the negative things going on in the world, it is very uplifting to see the kind of work you are doing. You are true heroes. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Techmoan sent me here! Great work and great nonprofit!
The smartphone with the braille screen is amazing.
Like a lot of other people, Techmoan's magazine on tape viso brought me here. My grandma's cousin, that I knew very well, suffered from macular degeneration towards the end of her life, and actually had a device that played the USB-based audiobooks.
I bet 3d printing will quickly become _very_ benificial to the blind and visually impaired if it has not been already, mainly by making small-scale manufacture of tactile components easy.
Excellent work! Thank you Techmoan for posting a link to this video.
Thanks also....we do not know how lucky we are to be able to read this...
It makes me so happy to see how much opportunity is given to those who are visually impared! Thank you for the good work!
Keep up the good work and as an avid audiophile I love the fact that you use professional narrators that help stories come alive.
This is a real "feel-good" video about a truly worthwhile organisation that makes a difference for so many people. And I'd probably never have seen it had Techmoan not sent me in this direction!
Like many of the recent commenters, I came from the Techmoan video. This really is a great organization. This is the sort of thing that helps me quash my cynicism for a time and actually feel hope for humanity.
Here thanks to Techmoan, and I thank him for it. The fact that there's an organization working solely to improve the lives of those with impairments is heartwarming, and as someone who's been blessed with a full complement of working senses and abilities, I wouldn't have known APH existed without having been pointed here. Keep up the great work, and keep working hard to make humanity better. Every one of you is amazing.
VERY INFORMATIVE-I HAD NO IDEA THAT SO MUCH GOOD WORK IS BEING DONE FOR THE VISUAL IMPAIRED
Techmoan brought me here, i found this incredibly moving. You do fantastic work.
Who's here from the Techmoan video?

Me.

Such important work, thank you for your service!
APH: "Why the heck are our video views so high all of a sudden???"
I mean, we weren't gonna say anything but... yeah.
You're doing an amazing work. Greetings from Germany!
Same
Danke!
APH does awesome work!
Another shout out to Techmoan....Thanks!
Amazing work guys.
Same here. Thanks to Techmoan.
thanks Techmoan!
What a fantastic company! Thanks to Techmoan for the heads up!
Thanks to Techmoan for sending me here. I'm so glad to know places like this exist. If I was a billionaire I wouldn't spend my money on setting up bases on mars, there's too much on this planet that needs fixing and so many people that need help that doesn't yet exist or needs improving.

Like everyone else, I'm here from Techmoan, because of this video: th-cam.com/video/tyWhWGG0rPo/w-d-xo.html
It's too bad Republicans, Betsy Devos and the Trump admin want to cut their funding. Seems like they do good work at APH!
