- We went to heck our stone crab traps and were surprised by blue crabs!!

Love them Jimmy's and stone crabs. I had soft crabs omelet with Old Bay. Took them out last night to thaw and have them for Saturday breakfast. It's funny that I saw this vid after breakfast, to much !! Cool vid.

I love Blue Crabs!! From Northern VA near the Chesapeake....those look huge!!! Vinegar....good. Seasoning...check!! The boss has the proper technique.......peel that backfin and eat is like a crabmeat lollipop after dipping it in butter!!! Heading to the outer banks in the future......now I want crabs!!! The diversity in the catch and cooks will keep me around. I live in central Texas and it's hard for me to get down there to the coastal thing. So far I've learned how to bait shrimp, bait crabs, smoke mullet, reasons to not buy a Traegor, proper throws on cast netting and a unique way to dress a fair sized trout. Many thanks to you and your family.
As a fellow central Texas boy I concur. I do go to the Texas coast quite a bit but not nearly as much as I want to. It will be where I retire, if I live long enough.

I grew up near the water catching and cooking eating crabs. So many that I pick the crab meat out down to a science. Save for later. Even the small legs. Develed crab. Took me 12 years to perfect she-crab soup. Love your videos. Both of you are young and awesome. ❤🦀👍

#2 great suggestion… add a small weight to your down line under the foam float about 16” to hold the line in a down position. Mono loop or snap ring will work also. Best wishes and Safe Weather prayers .

Those big rusty blue crabs were stacked in our creeks here too during for the last couple months. I just use them to catch big reds and black drum.
We do that too

Most definitely do something with the "lucky fishing rod" a catch clean and cook hell even if it was just doing some fishing off docks or a small pier or something like that it would be an amazing video!! I have been a subscriber since I think you only had like 12 videos posted!! Need to try and get together with good ol' BlueGabe and do something with him on your channel!! Great video Tug I think you should do a video with the lucky rod but let B fish it. And yes people do SUCK I live in middle Georgia and we run trot lines and bush hooks on the Altamaha, Oconee, and Ocmulgee river and people will come and check your lines and take your fish. I’ve even had people cut my lines and still my gear, I’ve often thought to myself how bad I’d react if I ever caught someone stealing my fish and gear.

I got a brush that goes on the power drill and I run it around the non-skid before I rinse off, saves a lot of time with the crab mud.
