That's right. I had one of these with a new piston and bore and rode it all over western Wyoming in the high deserts......where the wild mustangs roamed. Mine was jetted extremely perfectly and it clearly had much more nuts than this one. Literally, every time the cylinder fired.......the whoose of spent gas out the back would move the grass below it. The engine was a friggin' dangerous blast......you could feel every time the plug fired. The Pro Link was absolute crap and would very unexpectedly spit your ass off the bike and drive you into the hard soil until only the sole of your shoe was visible to someone walking by. I distinctly remember this happening one time in the hills just west of Rock Springs. I hit the ground so hard I could not breath....I thought I was going to die in the middle of that narrow rocky miserable trail. Finally, I was able to get my lungs to work again....but, it was a scary event. It actually rivaled (in terror) the three times I have hit deer on bikes in the intervening years. I often wish I had lived like the worthless soy fukkers-young people do now days so I would not be in so much pain at my current age. A lot of these injuries are for LIFE.
Super nice job on that tank
Nice , I had a 83' cr 480 , super fast and fun
I've got several first gen atc250rs and was wondering what it would be like to have a atc480r to go next to your cr480. I'd have both
Tad lean move your needle down one
