Homework wasn't done on this video. After the Yardbirds Clapton joined John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, this was not mention especially when Page produced their 45rpm record "I'm Your Witch Doctor" and later "Telephone Blues". During down time during those recordings Clapton stayed at Page's house, and this is where their jamming acured on Page's tape recorder. Page was working for Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham at the time on Oldham's Immediate Records as both a session guitarist and house producer. This is where the problem started, Oldham found out about those jamming sessions at Page's house with Clapton and because Page was under contract to Immediate Records those tapes belonged to Oldham. Page was between a rock and a hard place to say the least, and couldn't do anything. Clapton was hurt and this stuck with him through today. Now to continue your homework you didn't do, you jumped from the Yardsbirds to Cream and forgot about Mayall's Bluesbreakers. And you did the same think by jumping from Cream to Derek and the Dominos without first going from Cream to Blind Faith to Delaney & Bonnie & Friends to Clapton's first solo album before he started Derek and the Dominos. This isn't petty on my part of your oversight in the Facts, It's what actually happened, history, you know History? You started in 1963 with the Yardbirds and went on to Derek and the Dominos and missed alot of musical history in-between. And yes this was the story about the falling out between Clapton and Page over these jam session tapes at Page's house. Both Clapton and Page in plain english got fucked in the ass, more so by Page by what Andrew Loog Oldham did saying those where his tapes because Page worked for him. As a lay person as to the law, regardless which country, what I could never understand about this story is the recordings were done at Page's house and on his tape recorder. English Law? Who Knows! Clapton had a right to be pissed at Page but he eventually found out what happened, but the damage was done. I personally don't think Clapton should still hold bad feelings towards Page after all these years, but I'm not him. This whole story including my comments on this story is history, but when writing a story on history, Do - Your - Homework.📚 "It's only Rock and Roll, But I like it, like it, yes I do"🎸

YOU FORGOT TO MENTION - Jef Beck, Richie Blackmore, .....
And Jimmy Hendrix.
Yeah yeah yeah. Meanwhile, Jeff Beck continued to evolve for decades. In later years, no one could emulate his unique style and skill.
