Really enjoy watching your episodes, this one on the Gibb was the most factual one we have seen, keep it real and tell it how it is. Henry, time for the head to explode, your drone footage is amazing, I feel like i am there flying along, and the time you spend searching for the right song/music is totally worth it. Thanks for sharing your families memories.
Glad you like them! Oh really, that’s good to know! Hahaha he could definitely have a worse hobby that’s for sure. So happy to share! Thank you for taking the time to watch our videos, that’s awesome!
Willare never looked that good any of the many times that I have called there ( they must have cleaned up the place for you lol ) . I'm waiting for the Fitzroy to become passable again .
I loved your Gibb adventures and I’m so glad you are doing it again!!! You did so well. Henry I know I’ve said this before but in every episode you do, your drone footage and music selection is awesome and makes the watching experience so good and I can really tell that there is a lot of time and thought that goes into your editing😊😊😊. Looking forward to a Broome episode hopefully, were you there in August? (That’s when I was there). Also - congrats on 52 episodes 🍾🎉🙏
Thank you so much!! It’s definitely all worth it too when I hear such amazing compliments. It makes editing a lot more enjoyable haha! Yes, August/ September. Hopefully we do it justice for you then! Thank you 🥂
Love it , we did the gibb earlier last year too and loved it, we didn’t go the Kalumburu road but loved it anyway keep up the great vids they are awesome 😎
There’s just so much to see and do isn’t there! We missed a few things also but that always leaves it open to go again hahaha thank you, glad you’re enjoying them! Thanks for watching!
Awesome Guys thanks for sharing your experience around Australia. With the fuel being so close do you wish you had a long range tank on your 200 series we have a 200 as well and have been struggling with weather to get one or not ( extra weight having to get a rear bar to carry the spare & cost!!) Planning our trip/ new lifestyle on the road Cheers
Thank you. Definitely a no to the long range fuel tank. We wouldn’t have needed it anywhere we’ve been to be honest as there are many fuel stops (we chose not to fill up once, which was silly and meant we couldn’t do tunnel creek). I’d keep the spare weight it runs out quick. Pop a jerry can of fuel of the back of your van if you’re worried and empty it in the car tank every time it’ll fit. Fuel it up every time you fuel the car up. We have friend that does this and it saves money and weight on the car.
You mentioned milk being a problem have you tried anchor milk powder also milk cartons Almond, oats, just Good, that might be something you could look into, we have the same problem now use milk powder, like everything had to get a bit use to it now it’s ok we not buying twice a week now once a month…
Thanks for sharing another great vid guys👌 I don’t reckon you are regretting doing what you’re doing….but.. do you have moments when you wish you could be home and stay put?? Just curious 👍
No problems, thank you for watching. No definitely no regrets! Living in our van is our home now and I think it’d be weird to not be in it haha we love the flexibility it gives us! We’d definitely love more space but I don’t think we could get anything bigger than what we have and be able to do what we’re doing. We’ve done the whole stay put thing for years and never ventured away from our home town to live so when we do settle again one day our eyes have definitely been opened to some amazing places we’d definitely love to try live and create a different lifestyle.
Hey guys, great episode, very informative. We love how honest you guys are… when it’s shit… it’s shit! We are doing the big lap next year - 2024 and trying to work out if we go the first or second half of the year. What month did you tackle the Gibb? Thanks, Laura & Troy
Hey, glad to hear, thank you! Haha yes what use would bullshit be really? It definitely depends on how long you’re going, where from and what direction. We worked out our huge bucket list items and made sure when we done those the season was right. It was back in August. Thanks for watching, cheers.
Hi guys, have a quick question, how many watts of power do you have on your roof? I believe I seen an episode awhile back in which you had 600AH Lithium fitted? how long can you go off grid using this set up? we are taking delivery of a Lotus Freelander in a few months that will have 400AH lithium +800 watts Solar, and are planning an extended trip around Aust, really enjoying your utube episodes, and yes, the drone footage is fantastic.
Hello, We have 1.2kw of solar. Yes 600amps of lithium. We can be off grid indefinitely if we wanted to, just depends on the weather obviously. We’ve since installed a diesel heater so that covers off on the cold and not having to use huge amounts of power to stay warm. Yes we’re planning to travel until at least the end of 2024 so we may see you on the road somewhere! Glad you’re enjoying our videos, thank you for watching and reaching out!
