Matt Porter is a walking contradiction. Not picking De Decker cos he has only won one major, yet Dimi left out after picking up his second major title…
Aspinall is a joke ...a lot of people are gonna switch off from this stuff . . .!
Aspinall over Johnny Clayton???
I have to agree and I'm a big fan of the Asp. I mean Clayton is a former champion.
Aspinall has not had a good year. Not to mention the fact there's 6 englishmen. They wouldve been better off with De Decker as a major winner or Heta.
I wouldve taken aspinall out for either peter wright or damon heta
"Make yourself undroppable" like the players aren't already trying their hardest. Chizzy must be raging
Chizzy barely won a game on TV this year, amazing on euro tour and pro tour this last two years but not on the big stages unfortunately
Chizzy lol too many bounce outs
Where is heta, where is dave, where is clayton out of 3 need to 1 put into pl why not?
Ryan Joyce is better
than the last two 😮
Shure he is
I’m happy with most of the lineup. I would probably swap Chris Dobey for someone else Michael Smith, Johnny Clayton or Dave Chisnall
Stupid line up chisnall anderson and heta would off being better
Criminal that aspinall and price was in 🤷
Aspinall charity pick
Anyone over Price would be better.
Price is entertaning AF.
Pretty odd headline considering De Decker was never in the Premier League to begin with. Besides he won the least comparable PDC major to this, given it was dbl start dbl finish setplay.
Would prefer if they just went with top 4 from OoM and the next best 4 from ProTour and you then have the best 4 from the previous year (PT), plus the best 4 over the past two years (OoM).
Piss take line up
They should have added Simon Bates to the Premier League!
Ah! Young Master Bates!
great line up, bar Bunting, love Aspinall and the walk on. bottom 3 out for following season would help (unless they win worlds) and add different players
To be honest, Aspinall is a bit of a baffling choice. But he is a good stage presence, so I get it.
The PDC have previously selected players in the manner they've selected Aspinall basically for his walk-on song. Klaasen 2009 and 2017, Bunting 2015, Huybrechts 2015 and 2017, van Barneveld 2019 and Wright 2024. It's always been a disaster and all have finished last bar Bunting who was at least third-last and Klaasen who less awful than Huybrechts,.
I think winning a ranked major should probably get you in the premier League of darts
So glad these chose Nathan…top man
