hopefully vroid gets a better painting system! I used it to map out where elements go, and then I used my usual drawing program to make everything look good haha
Your FIRST Vroid??? You've managed to avoid most of the first time Vroid things people do - namely the tendency to exclusively use presets (gives the final pieced a very "Vroidy" look.) Only thing that stands out to me that indicates a Vroid model on her is the hair texture. Love the tricks used to give the hair some more texture! Vroid is definitely designed with straight hair in mind. Quick tip if you're ever looking to revisit your model - you can move that entire yellow hair frame around. For buns and similar styles, it may be easier to move the entire mesh over and shape it into a sphere, and work off of that instead of trying to force the symmetry to make the shapes for you. You've got such a pretty design, and your skills in texturing really shine through on your model! Super pretty!!
I’m sure someone has probably told you by now since it’s been a few months but there is a way to have semi transparent mesh it just requires you to load it into unity and mess with it
Although this is old and probably a stretch, what about erasing the color for the transparence and using a very low-opacity light gray? From then on, you can apply the solid pink rims after.
When I went to making my vtube model I tried using that program but gave up because it felt super limited but you just went above and beyond with this and I want to try this myself
i saw this on my recommended for so longgg and kept putting off watching this video BIG MISTAKE this video is so good, the model is pretty, the design is AMAZING, the concept is extraordinary and the way the timelapse is presented with music that fits it... its perfect
I loved it!!! I'm very fond of the feet thingy, the astronaut boot/robot feet. Design itself is very cute. Im actually pretty inspired to start again with doing vroid models
i started making my first model about 2 months ago, and this is AMAZING!! :0 i've been having a rough time with it so far so i'm speechless seeing how good this turned out! your model is SO CUTE!!!! 😭💗💗💗
omg thank u!!! I do have experience with mmd which isn't the same but at least gives me like starter knowledge on 3d stuff hahaha! I hope ur model creation is going well, you've got this!!
I’ve been using VRoid Studio to make my OCs so that I can have a consistent image of what they look like when I start actually writing their story, and it’s almost more work than the writing itself 😂😵 Maybe because I only have an iPad to work with, so I have to screen mirror my computer to it. It’s a struggle that I’m not sure I want to put up with. I’m really regretting not investing in something that can connect directly to the device.
Wow! I'm so late to this vid but amazing work!!! Love the hair texture!!! You went above and beyond what I thought vroid could do! Can I ask what did you use to animate in the last bit?
I know you made this a year ago, but for your first vroid model it looks absolutely amazing! Also I was sad myself about transparent meshes buuuttt I found it you take a brush like screentones or something of that sort. The textured brush that gives a manga shading vibe, in a different program than vroid it can give that semi transparent feel without actually being semi transparent!
Ooh! Pretty!! How did you turn the vrm to pmx? I've been trying but everything seems sketchy.. also what's pmxeditor!? Adding items to the character waaa I need that (☆▽☆)
Thank u!! this is the program I used! bowlroll.net/file/267190 there's a link to a video that helps explain! it converts really well except I think physics don't transfer over unfortunately! was fine for me but might be annoying for flowy hair
The thing you did with the hair thickness to make it look afro was very clever! It looks very nice!
I don’t get how people make such clean lines in vroid, even with my drawing tablet I cannot

why is everyone's first tries so good??? mine was just the templates with a little bit of texture editing to make the pants shorter
She reminds me of Bee from Bee and Puppycat! Turned out really really cute ^^

you don't need to rig it yourself, when u export the model it is rigged and ready to use in the vtubing software of ur choice
thanks dear@@littlebink ıt would be super great ıf you make a video about selling vroid model such as etsy ☺

there's a slider in the body modifications that lets you make the thighs bigger!
