Buy and carry a spare set of spring hangers and wet bolts. If you have them, any mobile welder will be able to field replace for you versus a band-aid to replace later. He did a great job for you nonetheless!

This is such a huge fear of mine. I noticed at the Hershey RV show this year that most of the RV manufacturers are starting to reinforce the hangers. It really surprised me to see a Forest River actually doing it (I'm not a Forest River fan). Good tip on emptying the propane lines, I wouldn't have thought of that. This welder is AWESOME. I really enjoyed watching him work. Praise God that He put this guy within distance to help y'all.

We have had to replace the engine waterpump on our motorhome 3 times. The first 2 were rebuilts. The last one was new which cost less and has been great. Every time we were never stranded and Autotrust in Stettler were Christians who gave us a car to use. God is good.
