Another GREAT video! I purchased my Craig Hopkin's videos on AMD's home page. They gave me the confidence to start my project, and Jubee has given me some of the insight and tips specific to my 1967 Camaro! Great job - keep them coming!
I bought the whole Hopkins video series when it was still available on his website. It helped me rescue a rusted out 72 Nova. Great work here. Looking forward to more content.
Appreciate it, Ive been struggling putting my amd quarter on my 67 camaro, same problem, gap at the top of the door is too big, and doesnt fit the truck worth a darn either, its been frustrating.
I've been buying panels before even sending out the '69 Camaro shell to get blasted & epoxy primered. It'll be easier to give you a list of what i already picked up so i can start cutting it up & putting it back together. A full one piece floor/ trunk pan with braces, rear frame rails from firewall to and including the rear inner valance from OER. Full outer rocker panels & 2 piece inner rocker panels from AMD. AMD firewall, tail panel, quarter panels & trunk drop offs. Along with Golden Star inner & outer rear wheel wells. And, I should be getting a inner quarter/ door structure for the driver's side (from door jam, up & over to A-Pillar). Also, picked up some AMD front- end pieces. Have 2x2 square steel tubing for bracing if need be. Would it be best to brace it & deliver it to the Blaster on the Rotisserie? What are good points to secure bracing inside? I just don't want to keep redoing the same area at different times. Just asking if there's a certain way you would go about beginning this. Would it be better to build the floor to firewall/ rockers/ tail panel first? Thanks in advance
Hey Jubee - I'm getting ready to complete my full trunk pan, tail panel and quarters on my 67 Vert, any advice you have is much appreciated! Your help with my toe-board/floor pan alignment was awesome. Also - I would love to donate some parts to your personal project so you can do videos of you doing that car!
Hi I need some advice on fitting my AMD Roofskin on my 69 Camaro it appears to fit very well Except at the top of the rear window opening seems to be about a 1/2 to long all the way across { the flange that you would spot weld on I would have to add material to the body to give it more support to the back glass my window opening is 20in, leasured at the center of the opening on the front flange its about a 1/16 of an in. shy all the was across it appears if i want to move the roofskin more forward I would need to trim some of the back of the drip rails at the sail panel area whars your opinion on this? also do you know of anyone that is making a sail panel area patch ? my vinyl top caused those areas to rust pretty bad the rest of the quarters are perfect Great videos VERY informative ! keep them coming Thanks!
BROTHER! all your help you give is gonna come back to you ten fold.
Thanks
