Not bad, but it can be better, I've tested around a bit with this deck and find a more performapal odd-eyes varient works better with a recurring defensive play, and they can activate evolution's 2nd pend summon eff quicker with access to bigger beaters. I highly recommend trying them out over multiple pend magicians(I run singles save for harmonizing since you can get consistent results with 2 minimum)

@@SuperNix the version I'm talking about does run magicians, and even though you're not using time graph xyz, you still have it's functional use installed in sky iris, and the deck searches itself if you balance the odd-eyes, performapal, and magician ratios, my dead hand ratio with the deck has been a consistent 2/10 from well over 60+ testing matches. I'd gladly show you some of the plays but I'm living under a rock when it comes to uploading on TH-cam

I have played so many meta decks in this game. All optimised to the best they can be and without paying a cent to the game. Pendulum god damn magician is what got me to master rank for the first time because no one knew what cards to negate. When the support came out I decided it needed a revamp. I went all the way from gold 3 to master 5 in the span of 10 god damn days and I'll never understand how or why it works so well. Doesn't help that my opponents were ash blossoming Astrograph

Watched the entire vid with 2x speed..... (dats why MD vid I always record with no bgm and later overlay with NCS) Gonna make my own version soon but probably kept the Sorcerer engine for cheap cheesing.
I like it slower cause it's easier for people to understand what's going on if they are new to the deck. Yeah Sorc is still nice but it's not mandatory for the combos anymore.

Thanks! It's a fine tech choice to run, being able to SS Gate Magician or Darkwurm is pretty good. It also shuts down Imper/Evenly/Lightning Storm. Gets even better if you run Sorcerer as you can SS him as well but also pop Field Spell for free search.
This version of magician is better than mine, but I run Zarc with timestar magician. In case i cant board wipe, i get to set up some interruptions with timegraph until I can summon Zarc with either the celestial trap or using astrograph's effect but I did learn some things from this vid. Good stuff.

@@definitelygod8629 You need Arc Pendulum Dragon or regular Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon as well as Soul of the Supreme King in the Main. In the Extra you need Z-Arc and also any "Synchro Dragon" and any "Fusion Dragon" monsters, let's say Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. In the main you can remove Duelist Alliance and 1 Maxx C, and in the Extra Bagooska, Wing Dragon and Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing. Hope this helps.
Thanks, glad you like it! It's just different approach, rather then toolbox in your Extra you would go for Z-Arc and monsters required to make him. I personally think this is stronger overall but Z-Arc offers you better gameplan into Maxx "C" which is a nice upside for OCG/MD.
@SuperNix I agree now that I made a Z-ARC deck.Its like walking on thin ice cuz ik if one of my effects is negated during one of my combos early stages I'm absolutely dead. The fact I have to make sure to have either an astrograph or a supreme king gate magician on field to tribute for ZARC is annoying too,plus having to have a one of the materials already banished for ZARC to even pop is so annoying. Too situational of a deck and inconsistent.
@@ramenmalik4297 With the normal trap you don't need to have anything banished in advance, you banish the materials when you play the trap. The problem comes up if you banish the wrong cards.. Idk, I love both decks this one and the Z-arc version. It's just that smart oponents know that their priority is to negate the SKGM so you don't get the trap, if that fails they try to negate the trap and if that fails they try to remove or beat up Z-ARC. Most games however, you should still have enough gas to repeat the process a few times. If your Magician and trap play is getting focused really hardcore try playing 2 gate0s 2 traps and 2 Z-Arcs. Funny thing about playing like that is once you summon 1 Z-Arc properly, the second one is almost "free" you just banish random stuff the second time around and it works. :D
Hi i have a question. There is a difference between min 1:53 and 11:40 using foolish burial, i guess its because if you can, the second option is a bit better?
Yeah no reason not to use it, in some casses you might send something else but Gate Magician was best target there. If you just start with Foolish in the opening hand, you will use it as usual and send Darkwurm.
Well without that play at 11:40 the board would probably have no Dweller since we would then have to ss the SKG Magician from our hand earlier and keep the foolish in the hand for next turn.. The card is just a more versatile dragon shrine for us and it gets much worse after turn 1 since the darkwurm effect requires an empty board to resolve. Also it's pretty common for our deck to use at least one darkwurm very early in the game even without the use of either foolish or dragon shrine because it still brings value of searching for SKG Magician. So if we use foolish to send the other one to the grave that makes our remaining dragonshrine cards completely dead.. My point is, it's optimal to use foolish whenever there is a good play to bring something back from the grave. This was probaby one of the best uses for it in my opinion. Even though it might seem we have many plays like that with this deck at any point in the game, there actually aren't that many.. If Black Fang Magician coud ss Darkwurm that would that would give us more plays with the grave, unfortunately it only works with spellcasters so people don't even bother to play it in this version of the deck. I like to run just 1 in stead of 1 harmonizing, just for flavor :D
Tbh going 2nd with any deck is a pain right now, but should be fine to get some wins and you have one of the best decks going 1st. I would say it's worth getting them, especially considering once Melodious cards come to MD, Supreme King Melodious will be a very good deck maybe even low meta as it has high ceiling and a lot of space for handtraps.

You need Pendulum Extra Deck monster that you can summon with Gate Zero (i like this one cause it's also Dark so you can use him for Starving Venom once summoned), that makes Pendulum Evolution extra Pendulum Summon effect live.
As explained sometimes you need Wing Dragon to get 2nd Pendulum Summon of Pendulum Evolution. Clear Wing is just a Synchro 8 that you can make going 2nd to help you break boards. But also sometimes on their turn when you have Exceed+Dweller (with Lightwurm as material) and any level 4, you would detach Lightwurm from Dweller then reborn it with Exceed, use eff to add back Darkwurm/Gate Magician and then quick Synchro for Clear Wing and Raigeki their board.

Yeah you can play Z-Arc, i just prefer toolbox approach. Z-Arc does make the deck better vs Maxx C, which is nice.
