Master Rank Pure Galaxy Photon Deck ft Delta Wing!

- I have reached Master Rank (and even Master 1) with pure Galaxy-Eyes several times before. But this time is different, since it's the first time I reached Master with Delta Wing in it. The deck is f2p friendly imo, since you just need to buy Origin of the Galaxy 3 times and craft 3 Photon Delta Wing, which is a SR card, in addition to staple cards that you should own anyway.

The deck prefers going 1st, to do combos and make a strong board. Photon Delta Wing helps achieving that on the first turn, since it helps summoning Galaxy Photon Dragon. The deck can summon N38, 90, and also Solflare for interruptions. Then, the deck focuses to OTK on your second turn (turn 3 of the game). Despite all that, the deck is very capable of going 2nd and OTK with its NC62, even with only its own pure engine.

I love to play Horus lately.. I already made blue eyes and blackwing Horus deck. But not made any galaxy photon yet.. well, I've never played any photon deck anyway.. I want to try it..

Just wanted to say that as a newbie, I really appreciate that you give tips against your opponent's meta decks and other diverse decks you play against, it helps a lot for me as I don't have that much time to research about the hundred plus decks that YuGiOh has xD

I thought I was the only one having a hard time trying to climb with Kash and even Mikanko’s I am one level away from qualitying for YCS and I can’t get that duel for shit ima try this deck out and see how far it gets me knowing my luck it won’t get me anywhere
Decks are not making The Duelist, it is The Duelist that is making the deck.
first turn setup (almost full combo that he did in the first replay ) negates a lot (especially if he added harbinger (add a hand trap or 2) and then ur opponent either bricks after the negate or play a mid board , next turn u get galaxy eyes and demolish . I win like 60-70% of games if i don't mess the combos up

in adition to the staple cards you should own anyway.... which is (all UR): 2x veiler, 3x maxx c, 3x ash, 1x nibiru, 1x foolish burial, 2x called by, 2x forbidden droplet, 1x zeus and idk about some the the other extra monsters, they are clearly NOT all in the structure deck...
this is a total of at least 15 URs, you need to either craft or buy the special pack for ONE of them and a stupid 10 master pack for 750 diamonds....
i would be interested in a deck with JUST 3x the structure and the free royal finish XYZ monster you get
What is the ruling on “cipher x”’s detach 2 effect? Is it a lingering effect where its applied to light monsters you control after resolving the effect or apply only to current light monsters you control? Bc I just had a duel with no interruptions where I resolved effect of “cipher x” but my opponent was still able to target my light monsters? like….WTF?
Current light monster. It follows the original OCG ruling, when it got slightly misinterpreted in TCG ruling.

Should I make Photon Delta Wing with Horus? Pure has special place in my heart, but Horus can give you access to N90 faster. Still there are some other downsides of playing Horus engine.

Have you ever had any situations where you used galaxy eyes to attack an xyz monater and make ot lose ots materials when it came back? That or the delta wing no attack effect?
05:16 that supreme king player should have taken the lose like a man. Imagine doing long combos to make that board, getting outplayed, and when he was about to lose to neo prime photon, he got salty and quit.

Plus i didn't know CN62 special ability can get ashed but N62 cannot get ashed... why is that the case since detach afterglow and attach as a material would have double both N62 and CN62 attack?
I think both can get ashed, since what will get ashed is afterglow
What would get ashed is Afterglow. The difference between N62 and NC62 is N62 resolves its effect on damage calculation, which ash cant negate afterglow based on the ruling. Whereas, NC62 activates its eff at the start of the battle phase, which allows ash to negate Afterglow.

Delta Wings gives Consistency boost but less oppressive board
I wish they could have made Delta Wings have an effect to special summon itself from hand or grave by showing a Photon Xyz Monster or similar requirements instead
Is this variant more consistent than the horus engine variant?
Horus engine allows you to access N90 earlier, but you need to be creative in your combo.
It boggles my mind how many “Galaxy-Eyes” Xyz Monsters don’t exist that should. I mean, cards that could be super cool to use, like:
- Neo Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon
- Galaxy-Eyes Utopic Flare Dragon (a combination of Yuma and Kite’s aces since they had crazy teamwork in Zexal)
- UNBAN DARK MATTER DRAGON, PLEASE!!!

Whats your opinion on pure vs the horus variant?
Personally i dont like how i cannot use trance if i go into horus lines...
Horus gives you a quicker N90, so your combo is safer. Its recovery is pretty strong. The downside is it conflicts with Trance, but you can always discard it. Also, If you use Horus as part of Galaxy combo, you may only use Hundred's banish once (if at all), compared to purer version which allows you to banish twice. Again, if you know the pure combo and you dont open any Horus cards, you can always go for pure combo. Going 2nd with Horus feels better imo, since they are a different engine than Galaxy Photon and may force opp to use their interruptions. In short, Horus variant is better.

Which is more fun and competitive deck to play with? Resonators or Galaxy eyes?
Resonator has easier combo lines than Galaxy Photon imo
And if we didn't have photon delta, what other card could replace that one?

Negate Salamangreat XYZ is a good option. Banishing all Prometheans, followed by Pyro/Raging are good Hundred's banish options. Also, use your handtraps wisely.

Don’t like delta wing without the new tach support. Therion package is still great and DW locks u outta that
But Therion package kills Trance. I still forget about this multiple times and ends up messing up my combo.
How to special summon AA Zeus sky thunder
By using XYZ monsters after any XYZ attacks. You usually summon it after Bagooska or if you fail to OTK and not locked by trance.
