The only robbery the first fight was Islam not getting his rightful p4p spot which was agreed upon that he would get if he won. Now he's beaten Volk twice.
He had only one thing to gain from that fight and they didn't give it to him. he is so pissed that he said to Megan Olivi that they can keep Volk at 2 and me at 3 he doesn't care
I still don't understand how in the P4P rankings Jones is #1, Jones has 1 fight in 3-4 years and it was Cyril Gane 😂, Islam beats Volk twice, & Charles who were both top 3 in P4P and hes not P4P #1? The rankings are based on fighters current/recent performances, theres no one who comes to beating the level of fighters Islam has beat recently.

How many title defences does he have? Jones has more. Even Volk has more. P4P you get with multiple title defences, not with 2 defences against a guy who went up to your category and fought you on 10 days notice.

I can understand the fans being snakecharmed by the David v Goliath optics and a lucky 5th round, but I have no idea where Volk got his confidence from after losing 4 rounds in the previous fight
I thought Islam won 3-2 but he clearly won. Give Volk credit, not easy to go up a weight class. I thought the time between weigh in and the fight is what kept it close last time, but Volk didn’t account for that or think how much it affected the fight

Jones is the GOAT no doubt. But that’s not what the P4P is measuring. You can’t be as inactive as Jones has been and then get to no.1. Aside from Jones, no one else even has a claim ahead of Islam.

I liked the idea of a rematch against Volk because the first fight was so close, in this rematch was all know now who is the king, but for Charles Olivera to fight again with Islam is kind of bad, because the first match was NOT even close, give this new p4p king new meat, give him Gustin , or Dustin or Colby or any one new, enough with the rematches.
