It's finally here! BOAT SEASON! We moved into our boat and headed out on the fjords of Svalbard, and WOW is it gorgeous out there! We have a few visits from walruses, polar bear tracks towards the glacier and get to experience some of the most incredible nature. Can’t help but notice in every video the contrast between how hyper, excitable and chatty Cecilia is and how quiet and chill Cristoffer is. Their couple dynamic is part of the charm of this channel imo, I for one am glad they decided to work together on the videos, the channel feels more complete with all 3 of them.

Cecilia, you not only teach me so much about Svalbard and your village of Longyearbyen every time I watch your video, you also are quite the comic at times as well! You really like to keep busy! I especially love it when you speed up the playback! I tend to laugh and chuckle easily anyway! And that really gets my giggle motor revving up!
Christopher, I know that you usually are the quiet and reserved one in most of the videos. But you have had your moments as well. I know you both care for Grim very much; and I love that! But I must say that when you non-chalantly just picked up Grim to get him through the water I both chuckled and said awwww at pretty much the same time!
It would be nice if one day I could actually come to Svalbard; but it is not likely. Christopher, Cecilia, and Grim, thank you for being my eyes in your part of the world! I have only been watching your channel for a few months; but I have learned so much from you that it feels like I have known you much longer! Love you guys!

Wow, just simply wow. This is my kind of scenery and weather! You videos leave me in awww everytime. Watching your videos is like a mini escape from our weather of where I live. I live in New Mexico, USA and we are currently experiencing 100-110 degree temperatures, talk about hot! But nonetheless thank you for sharing such beautiful scenery and showing us how absolutely gorgeous mother nature really is ❤️

I just love Grimm, I have "Fred" adorable maltese who rules our home, only 2 years old now, weighs only 7 lbs! I also could live beside the ocean full time, so beautiful. The ocean is like glass, gorgeous! What is so great --not populated, untouched scenery, so peaceful.

Some advice on using the Bialetti Mokha. You should remove it from the fire as soon as you hear the sputtering. Pour the coffe out. Then immediately cool down the Mokha by running it under the tap. Try it out, you'll immediately notice the difference! This system prevents the coffee in the basket from "burning," greatly reducing unwanted bitterness. It also increases the life of the Mokha by avoiding the buildup of these bitter oils in the water pot.

This particular video was superb. Wow, what a NICE boat! This life style I would never get bored with. Yes, I have seen where walrus take up residence on smaller dinghies. So funny because they make the small boats look like they are sinking! That was cute how Christopher lifted Grim across that stream, so cute so handy. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY. I love listening to the sound of ice thawing and making noises in the end of winter. First time I heard that I thought it was an explosion in the distance. Cecilia, you ought to make up travel videos for Svalbard! Thank you guys so much.

The coffee you prepare in this video seems to be so good! I love coffee as you do. I am originally from Brazil and there we love strong coffee. Here in US they like "teaffee". There is only one coffee that is stronger than any other; a Cuban coffee called "colada". I had this coffee in some Cuban convenience store in Florida. I can't take too much coffee anymore, cause me dizziness. As a suggestion for you, try to find Coffee Companies to be your sponsor, you make people want to drink coffee.
I've been watching for about a year. It's inspiring, beautiful and its inspired me to save enough to come to svalbard (even though I have to take 3 flights to get there from uk) I'm coming in January ive always wanted to see polar night.

I think the summer sun and winter night would be such a unique and fun experience. I love to have periods of staying up late into the night as well as periods of staying in, and I think that would make it more enjoyable to have the vast variations in the daylight.
However, your summers are as cold as our winters. It was 39 degrees Celsius where I live today. Your summer sounds like a pleasing, albeit chilly temp, but I can't imagine standing a place that is below freezing for much of the year! It is amazing how much humans can adapt to different environments. I didn't mind the snowy cold as a kid when I lived further north.
I love the image of just eating nice meals on the boat surrounded by the vast expanse of empty wilderness and ice. This is the first time I've ever looked at such a scene and thought it appeared cozy and enjoyable, instead of imagining such a terrain being so difficult and having to "rough it" to be out there.

It’s crazy to me how other worldly that view is. Like you’re on another planet. Nothing green, just rock, ice and water. It’s wild to me. But I live in a forest and although we have a ton of snow in winter I love my green trees!

That drone footage at the glacier was STUNNING, I don’t think it is an exaggeration when you said it was the most beautiful trip yet, that spot real was almost unreal! And when you had yourselves in the shot it reached showed the enormous scale of the landscape. Love it so much!
Social media can absolutely be an addiction! We went on a cruise last week & it was wonderful to just be in the moment & not on the phone! Although I am thankful for it as I can see how others live such as yourself.

I hike and backpack all over the PNW, and our little black bears are such a treat to see. Seeing your adventures in Svalbard, where polar bears are an actual concern, just blows my mind. I hope I can see them one day, too - from a safe distance, of course.
I may have to convince my husband to move closer to the north pole so I can enjoy all the icy beauty and cooler temperatures. He would rather move to Arizona, so it's doubtful 😅
