Great to see Dibble use this classic tactic from nature so well, actually can work when they hold the circle, makes for interesting, beautiful combat (BTW what they did is the opposite of Panic, those Dibble were very disciplined)
Honestly, I like what the diablos have done, in fact in their concept art they make a defensive circle, I would like to do it sometime, but I have not found groups that want to make a defensive circle during an attack.
Just coming into the video, I actually got so oddly giggly and I think I may of had a moment there of just pure unbridled joy of seeing the diablos all in a circle like that. I had no idea why, I just got really happy and oddly nostalgic about it, almost reminding me of planet dinosaur.
This tactic is used when you need to protect smaller individuals in your group so it works a lot better whenever there are more people but whenever we can go in the circle and the external circle can continue taking damage and keep on swapping out
Could you make a gateway tutorial? Of the new update, since I can’t find south plains, nor any other place, and die of starvation because I can’t find Dino’s
hotspots change a lot, but usually you can follow your migration or patrol zone to find more people, as herbivores require to follow them to get food. You can also use the online map called IsleMaps to see where you are
hey i ve got myth idea can you bite through someone else body? like lets say two dinos are hitting on both sides of another dino can they hit each other if their heads are clipping?
I'm Brazillian but I'm playing in Europe servers, I don't consider that a "good" ping but meh, kinda works. about the fps, I'm playing in 30, is that good? XD
So your telling me the only time dibbles do a proper defense circle & its just to spite carnivores? smh. could do this vs carnos tbh & ceras anything that cant jump & protect smalls inside the circle.
I don’t see why we should just assume this was done for spite. They clearly wanted to try a defensive strategy, and the only way to ensure they could, is to make someone attack them. They saw a group of Omni with food, and took it as an opportunity.
The attacks not hitting is so annoying. Can The Isle please fix this sh!t? Like, it completely ruins the game.... those bites you miss could cause you to die or for a completely different outcome to occur, but you won't know because the game is broken.
It worked tho??? They decided to try a strategy that was more defensive, and they executed it as well as one could hope for. Even after one gets hurt enough to have to sit down, they just put him in the middle. Yea, there were openings to get at that guy, but by that time enough of the Omnis had gotten hit or killed, that it didn’t matter. They won. If something is stupid, but it works, it isn’t stupid.
@@peasantkyr right but still they could have charged at any moment and catch utah players offguard and the fight would have been a lot shorter if you choose the harder path when there is an obvious and easy solution than that is stupid
@@robboss204 from how they inserted themselves into this situation to begin with, it seems clear to me that they came up with this plan in advance, and were actively looking for a situation where they could test the strategy. It would be unreasonable, then, to expect them to suddenly change tactics in the middle of the fight, unless it stops working, which didn’t happen. I don’t think you can honestly claim that rushing out to fight the omnis, on the omnis terms, would be “easier” than standing their ground as they were doing. “Obvious”? Maybe, but the obvious answer isn’t necessarily going to be the one that’s most effective, and no one can judge how effective a strategy is, until it’s tested thoroughly, which is what they were doing. This test, as we have established, was successful. I fail to see why they should be mocked for this.

they were either in vc or were all good players, every time i try to do this with randoms they dont listen and jus run around 😭
@@v8hyp nah if I was with you i would listen.
First time I’ve actually seen Dibbles form a defensive circle like that, pretty neat. Would be cool to see in a semi realism situation
me and two friends did it as big juvi dibbles against omni's , took so long, cause we didnt really kill anybody, but they couldnt kill us
We used to do this with trikes against rex in legacy. It’s fun bc you type “ass to ass “ in chat and assignment is understood😂

Remember they have to use all their sparring charges before it actually starts using stamina
yes, we made sure of that!
Isn't this the tactic seen in the concept art as well? Cool!!
I hate this Dino with a passion but this is cinema
Same lol
The fact dibbles are even doing that against Omni's is hilarious lol Cera's sure. Omni's? PFFF.

Can u make a video detailing the best mutations for each dinosaur pls
@kouga You might accidentally build a dinosaur meta doing that lol
The day a rex is added to the game is the day dibble becomes more a snack than a problem for most people lmao

Great vid that was fun to watch
Fought an Omni as Dibble two days ago, both Solo. Bro thought he was Nappn lol. I oneshot him with Alt bite. Poor guy/girl
