Totally not crying throughout. Thank you for giving so much to a sport that failed you in your past. To be fully honest it never once crossed my mind while I was at school and growing up “what if boys/men wanted to play netball”. NEVER. And I feel embarrassed to say that. It was just never a conversation in society about what if this gender wanted to play this sport or that sport. And it SHOULD. Just because something has traditionally been played by women or vice versa doesnt meant that there shouldnt be an opportunity for those wanting to learn or play to do so. Thank you Kruze for sharing the pain and opening our eyes to what people, communities and sporting bodies should do better.
Well done Cruze! I coach, umpire and play. You're an AMAZING young man and netballer. Don't you ever think you're not good enough from now on. You're not only good enough, you're AMAZING! Love to see you coach at Elite level in the distant future when your playing days slow down. Thank You for sharing your story, your mamae, your life xo
