- Robin discusses how Aaliyah Edwards of the Washington Mystics is making a name for herself in this year's WNBA rookie class, notably by going at Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky. He also talks how he's been impressed by Rickea Jackson of the Los Angeles Sparks.

Robin, the W should facilitate a trade of CC to the Mystics. They could give up their first for CC. The Mystics have three decent Bigs with Edward’s. They could use a point that leads the fast break and shoots threes. They have Edward’s and two other players who can get down court with excellent hands. The Mystics have good ball rotation and have a good big that can hit threes. They seem like a perfect fit for Clark and her style of play. Please make it happen. Because I don’t know how much more of the Fever BS I can watch. If the W wants to help correct the obvious problem they have, I’d have a serious talk with the Mystics and Fever.

@@foolishgreyGlad to hear that I am not alone. The last two times I watched the Mystics about all I could think of was seeing Caitlin being the final piece they need to be one of the better W teams. I get the feeling CC personality would be a much better fit with the Mystics coach and team.
Everyone wants CC to play with the Mystics. But won't happen this year. That's not to say CC and Aaliyah won't one day play together when the stars align.

everyone's adapting well to their respective new teams like Rickea Jackson, Kate Martin, Cameron Brink, and Angel Reese, except CC. either CC is perfectionist or autistic, the latter would explain a lot.

CC is only struggling because her team doesn't want to play with her and Fever coach is playing last year's offense which doesn't have CC in its rotation.

@@topgun298 us olympics made a great point. they didnt put arike ogunbowale on the team bc she is the kind of player that needs a team and an offense built around her and her STYLE of play. she is far and away a much better player than caitlin on both sides of the ball. but still, arike's team, just like indiana who is trying to build their offense around caitlin's STYLE, is in the bottom quarter of the league in standings. what caitlin did at iowa, worked at iowa. that's not gonna work in the W. you cannot succeed around the playing style of 1 player. jewel loyd also suffered this last year in seattle. this year they went and got skylar and nneka to help her, and now they are thriving as a TEAM. nalyssa, boston, and mitchell are all good players, but (and to your point), you're right. theyre not trying to play around caitlin's style of play. and honestly, NOR SHOULD THEY. until she can improve her play on both sides of ball, I wouldnt buy into running an offense around her either.
kate martin said wilson was her best teammate ever, that was add since she played with caitlin for four years. they are supposed to be great friends.

It's going to the blocks because A.B. has a decisive advantage down low. CC will be a facilitator in this one but she will get some good looks especially when Mabry is guarding her. Mabry does not play defense. I think Mabry will be the key for the Sky IF she's willing to facilitate a bit more, lol. She'll be trying to out gun CC though. She loves the three ball a bit too much.

3:32 yea…Aalyiah got me talkin after the first matchup…I missed this game and I’m forever salty about it because I really wanna see just how much Reese messed up this game…but I just watched Aalyiah’s elite 8 game against USC a little earlier n yea…she looked REAL close to as good as Paige on that team…at least in that game…watching that game though…I’m salty Paige didn’t decide to go in the draft…she’s a lot more exciting to me to watch than CC is…I kinda can’t wait until she comes in next year…smh…and here I was thinkin I was only waitin on JuJu…these women are FYE.
I watched that game. Mystics were killing sky until 4th quarter and refs called fouls on mystics almost every possession was like 7 strait plays that refs put sky on the line with fouls calls plus 2 offensives fouls in same run that put sky on the line. Refs tried so hard to get Sky to win.
They were calling a lot of ticky tack fouls on the Sky earlier in the game so perhaps they were trying to make up for it. Reese and Cardoso got into foul trouble early because of that.
I watched her all through college. She’s much better offensively than Reese.

Aaliyah Edwards is hungry, and she ate Angel's lunch. I'm an Angel Reese fan, so ya hate to see it. Compare this matchup to Rocky vs. Clubber Lang. Rocky was rich and living in the mansion and lost the Eye of the Tiger; therefore, he ended up losing the title to Clubber Lang, who was hungry and wanted the spoils that Rocky possessed.
I see from your videos that you don't like Reese. Edwards did nothing in the 4th quarter when it counts. Edawrds is doing her best to out play Reese to make it seem as if she is the better player inwhich Edwards is not. Coach teresa is not allowing Angel to play her whole game. She has Angel in the paint, grabbing rebounds and put backs. If Mabrey didn't miss them jump shots, the mytics would have lost.. Reese is getting a double and triple team in the paint, more then any rookie and still gettting a double double.

Naw the Refs got Angel this game and Mabrey
Angel Reese is still slow to get back on offensive rebounds and defense. She has no outside shot. She could be such a good defender if she put in the effort.
She is already guarding he MVP players of this league. I think the other teams already consider her a great defender. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
