The rally is bad because the best advice is to pop rally right before starting a team fight so you can maximize its capability to tank through a fight along with your team. Many amateurs will make the rookie mistake of popping rally while trying to fight a team and die after like 1 second of using rally.
Personally, I would like the duration to be increased to like 12 seconds and for it to provide armor instead of overhealth, would help to differentiate her from Lucio.

40:42 was actually terrifying. Crazy how you escaped and managed to keep your cool afterwards lol. 42:21 is so painful too. I rly hate working so hard to build up your ult (since it costs the most f-ing points in the game) and then getting one shot. Really wish they gave it some kind of oomph factor. Hopefully her next ult has more “instant” impact.
I didn’t think Sigma/Brig was so good until I tried it. Both of you having shields makes it so much easier to push! Also, I started to understand that if Ramattra already used his nemesis form you can actually go fight him as Brig.
What sensitivity do you play on Brig? I played a lot o Brig on OW1 but am only just picking her up again now and it's such a different playstyle, so basically starting from scratch. I'm a Rein, and I tried turning my sense up to the same as Rein (up form 7 to 12 I think?) but it just meant I couldn't hit a whipshot to save my life (but did make turn and bash escapes easier). What do you recommend?

I do it out of habit but it's supposed to be used to deter any flankers from coming at your team in the back, and sometimes if they're running Sombra you can even catch her out of invisibility by doing that if she gets too close

Hey Shift, I'm back to OW after not playing since ~2018. I like playing off meta heroes and after watching your videos I've been playing Brig. I mute all chat because there's usually alot of flaming going on regardless if I'm playing well or not. In plat right now, and I'm sure at this rate I'll be able to get to diamond I wanted to know, is there a bug where I think after doing a shield bash, your aim looks straight up in the air and you have to pull it back down ? I had a game on midtown where it kept happening
I love playing brig your videos have been a big help to me though currently I'm still low ranked I have been improving slowly also i run into Lazyturtle a lot so I found it fun seeing a familiar username in this video
The reason low metals play the way they do is because they listen to the higher ranks about “surviving” and that it’s the only way to rank up. However that is not true, t500 players are always analyzing the situation not just focusing on one thing
im assuming force 50/50 refers to the matchmaker putting good players with bad ones to average out the skill level, and not the matchmaker just.. raising your MMR. the devs have addressed this directly, when they updated match balancing to focus on skill levels on a per-role basis. it basically confirmed that, at most, your role duo (DPS/SUP) may be of a wildly different skill level to match the average rank of the opposing teams role. but no more than that theoretically, other than typical matchmaking descrepancies
You should try pining people a lot more, it's really useful on brig and you can kinda scout with your shield and ping people I love that the orisa compains about the healing but you had one healer down and the reason the enemy team had more healing, is cause they took more damage lol It's not like they're better at healing, if no-one is taking damage on your team, then of course you have less healing haha Also I find that, looking out for yourself in lower ranks often pays off better. Normally I resrve my anna nade for healing others in higher ranks but in lower ranks, you can't rely on your team to help you out when someone dives you etc.
Especially when its Gold placement. If they played Bronze 5 to GM as Brig, It would be interesting. Games where ppl literally installed a Free to Play game, then leave once they dont do well. Or cant aim, zero understanding of mismatches/ abilities, situational awareness, I can go on. I watch to learn some things, but that’s about it…
Smurfing isn't really a thing anymore unless you hard throw. All matchmaking is determined by MMR in OW2, not rank. Your rank is meaningless. He was already playing masters lobbies after ~7 games while still being "gold" ranked. It actually makes unranked to GM less educational than OW1 because after a handful of games they're basically back to the same lobbies they're playing on their main.

I played a lot o Brig on OW1 but am only just picking her up again now and it's such a different playstyle, so basically starting from scratch.
I'm a Rein, and I tried turning my sense up to the same as Rein (up form 7 to 12 I think?) but it just meant I couldn't hit a whipshot to save my life (but did make turn and bash escapes easier).
What do you recommend?

@@control2XS it's pretty common for high level players to have large mouse mats. They usually play on fairly low sens

so does brig do passive heal like lucio, ive never played her
Every time Brig damages an enemy she triggers an aoe heal that last 3 secs just like Lucio. Also her health packs heal for 110hp over time.

No, its more a habit of brigs incase you hit a flanker or someone unexpected
