Morning Villiers I cant wait for the next video of yours to come out i never miss any of your videos and cant wait to stay and visit all thee water holes in the estate thanks for all your insight
I was actually doing some research a few months ago on wildlife estates near Kruger and came across The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. I’d love to find out more.
Karin & I have been following that limping spotted hyena for years. Even before it was injured somehow. He is one of our favs. We call him Mo. WE have seen Mo in a wide range of areas including Pridelands and all the way up at the Olifants River.
Thank you for the video Villiers. Very nicely put together. I spent a 2022, then a break of a year, then the first 6 months of this year, in and around the Kruger park. Now in SE Asia... and missing Africa. I will be back again shortly.
Just this morning we were sitting in bed and looking at property for sale in HWE and the first video YT sent me is this. ...It must be a sign...😂 Love your channel
Great porcupine footage. You seldom get a good look them. Have you seen porcupines mating before? Letting us sponsor a trail cam was a great idea. The more the better.
This is by far one of your best videos !. all of your videos are good but this one just hits that spot. last month my dad and I went to Kgalagadi. I am already planning the next trip and saving up for a decent camera setup. die gogga het gebyt
What an amazing place this must be and would be to live...if only I suppose. Are you able to put up your trail cameras wherever you'd like in these places like the dams and trails?
Hey Villiers, it's Henning again. If I'm not wrong you've published another video where you presented the wildlife estate including the accommodations, is that right? I cannot find it - could you post the link to that video pls? I am planning our holidays in July 2025 and I am looking for a stopover on our way from Sabie to Pafuri. I thought it might be a good idea to spend one relaxing night at hoedspruit wildlife estate? Thanks in advance! Best regards, Henning
@@hencam, no, sorry - I haven’t made one about the accommdation of HWE - I’ve only mentioned Africa House in the 3 episodes of The Wildlife Estate Diaries.
Must compliment You, gifted communication and most of all your love for all things great and small. Elmé

Yep, indeed 😊
Do they have hats available? They’re nice but didn’t see on their website. The one you have is great.
@@jbuehlerjr4289, not as far as I know.

Great video.
What type of camera traps are you using? I need to upgrade mine at the Jejane Nature Reserve.

very good, as always.
one question: how often do you have to change the batteries on the cameras? How do you manage it?
Never - they are solar charged 💪🏻
What a great video! How many leopards are there in the estate?
