My dream was to become a professional player. I don't think I have cared about anything as much as I cared about improving at CS during that time. The passion for the game was off the charts. Anyways, that period of time was such a gem, and you have made an excellent series of videos here to the point where the comprehensiveness and quality of the series is a gem itself. Thank you for making this. Excellent work.

For me it was always 1.5 > 1.3 > 1.1 > 1.6 > 1.4

I think that's the case because a lot of the players on this part of the list are great players but were mostly IGLs and Role (non star) players for most of their teams, but still the best of those types.
Only thing i miss most from 1.6 times, is the wallbanging, i have about 1,5 years ingametime in 1.6 and 3k hours in GO and right now i'm LEM, but.. that game doesnt give the same feeling as 1.6 gave long time ago.. i could say CS will never be same again.

We ended up taking our mom's computer and hiding it in our bathroom to set up as a server so we can customize the game as we liked with mods and DL all the awesome custom maps to play.
