Well, who knows. Maybe that will happen someday. I do wear a SP shirt and face mask. So, if you ever see someone wearing the SP logo face mask, it's probably me.
Great shots of Missouri One and Maryland One. Not sure if you heard, but unfortunately it appears Illinois One (N918WN) has been retired from service. Hopefully it will come back soon on another aircraft!
Well, I don't have any inside information or anything, and I don't know where you got your information, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just out of service for heavy maintenance checks. That airframe is only 12 years old, and even with Covid, Southwest is running a lot of planes that are much older. Even if it has been retired, I'd imagine the livery gets put on another aircraft.
Skylite Productions From what I read yesterday, apparently N918WN is not owned by WN, but rather leased. It was flown into PAE on 9/2 and it’s airframe status says “stored.” I don’t have any true inside sources, this is just what I gathered from multiple online sources. Hopefully I’m wrong though. It would be odd if it’s true. But I’m sure they would repaint it like CA One, AZ One, and Lone Star One on newer aircraft. Also a bummer, because I really wanted the new Gemini 200 model!
@@sla31 Thank you for sharing. The A340-600 looks beautiful. As of currently, the Boeing 737-800 is my favorite because I usually fly on Southwest Airlines, and Southwest's heart interior is found on their Boeing 737-800's. The A321 as well as the A340-600 are honorable mentions.
Hey, I remember seeing Maryland One in SLC back in October (4th, I think?) of 2017. It's nice to see it still flying. :)
nice spotting!!
Outstanding Footage once again Skylite!
what a cute red one you just made my day:)
I hope one day when I'm flying through dallas, I see you with your camera and I get to stop and get a picture!

What is your favorite aircraft of all time?
My favorite aircraft of all time is the Airbus A340-600. Beautiful plane!
