Some new people don't know this, but at one point in her ASMR career, latte actually didn't speak english at all. She makes real move-looking sets, and she learned a whole second language for her subscribers. She has come so far, and she deserves all the best. people don't understand how much effort she puts into her vids, and she does so much for us. thank you.

I always had the impression that she had started learning English seriously for other reasons before creating asmr content and then primarily made videos in English because they received better engagement than her Korean videos

She didnt learn English for Us. Learning English is fairly common in Korea and I believe part of primary classes. She was using her asmr videos to get Better at her English.
I would say it's her 3rd language since she speaks some good Japanese

I’m in Texas where we just had a serious winter storm. I was without power for almost 36 hours. My house got so cold my dogs water bowl froze solid and all my pipes busted. I’m finally laying in my bed with heat and came to TH-cam for some mental relaxation after these last two extremely stressful and emotionally trying days. You could not have posted at a better time. Latte’s content has always been one of my favorites on TH-cam in the ASMR community, because she simply cannot be “un-relaxing.” No matter what she does, she’s always so ASMR-like. Her soft spoken voice is never too loud, harsh, or too soft, even. If she has brighter backgrounds, it always seems to be muted or relaxing in some way. Latte’s TH-cam videos are always with such high production quality and it makes me so happy that she cares about her viewers this much. Her videos are really relaxing. Thank you Latte!

hey I know this is a bit out of place, but my little brother was recently diagnosed with mysophonia and he absolutely cannot stand eating and especially drinking sounds. (wet-ish mouth sounds in general) due to COVID we cannot really start a therapy to help him, so I wanted to ask you if you have any experiences that helped you, and that help you relax a bit? you probably don't have the exact same triggers as my bro, but maybe in general? there’s just something so enchanting about the little details included in all of latte’s videos, they almost make them seem more realistic and the more the realism is there the more relaxing it is. it’s funny to feel so comforted by a random person on the internet, it almost feels as if you’ve known them for years and their a really close friend who you know you can trust.
Tbh I can’t even describe the amount of gratitude I have for latte. I’m a mom of two and it feels nice to have someone take care of me even if it’s through my headphones.
What i like about Latte that she is not like other asmr channels, she doesn't repeat the same word more than one time and doesn't tap too much.

I haven’t had a decent amount of sleep in about 9 months. I usually sleep for around 3-4 hours. Today, I had trouble staying awake in school and took a small nap. i'm a straight-a student. i'm currently in ninth grade and have never gotten a grade lower than a 95.6 before. today i got a progress card, and i had a 67.8 in social studies. i almost broke down crying because i was upset with myself and i knew my mother would be upset with me, too. when latte said "You did so good today," it really made me feel better. it gave me the courage to go and talk to my social studies teacher and get it sorted out. turns out, i could make all my assignments up, and my grade went up to a 99.3. thank you, latte.

Her English hasn't been bad but she definitely struggled a bit if her earlier videos. I think the biggest improvement is that she seems a lot more confident when she speaks now. She doesn't use as many filler words as before and it makes a huge difference.
